Hey Sis! Fellow RUclipsr here! I just moved back to CLT after traveling for a few years. I lived in the RDU area during college and I’ll say: I think you’ll enjoy CLT the more you meet people and get used to the city. There’s so much more to do here than in Raleigh!
Love the advice you gave about making friends. I’ve lived in Greensboro for a year and a half and haven’t made any friends yet. I’m definitely going to put myself out there like you said
BoA headquarters is here. Housing is off the chain expensive unless you're an experienced financial sector professional. There are also too many low grade schools, especially in East CLT.

What's the best area to live in - as close to uptown as possible & safe? Seems like the average 2 bedroom in uptown is around 2300, but i think I'd prefer a townhouse for that price.

I moved to Charlotte in 97 from Bklyn, personally it was beautiful, I moved back to Bklyn 2020 to be with my aged parents the inconvenience is not comparable there is NO PARKING here to get the basic necessities, Come On!

Carolina Place Mall in Pineville NC. Minutes from Charlotte. And for the record. Charlotte has become a melting pot. So you can't say people from Charlotte can't drive because there are people coming from all over moving here. Just saying.

I just moved to NC. Where are the black women? SMH Where are the Parks where people go to walk, bike ride or jog? Being that I'm originally from Brooklyn, New York I'm accustomed to going to Central Park and Prospect Park. I'm in the Rockwell NC area and need to know where the action is. Where are the Black women with their sun dresses and sandals? lol I'm in the perfect area but didn't do research on where the women at. LOL

Too much is going on in NY so i moved. crime, madness ,high prices, people are mean spirited. just the other day there was a crazy man throwing stuff from a 20 story building and people getting pushed in the train tracks every week. People losing their minds in NY.
I hate Charlotte! But have no choice. I’m 70 and need to live with daughter in Charlotte. Drivers are crazy, and Charlotte can’t keep up with growth. Need more transportation.

They’re everywhere. Try to look for events on Eventbrite or the Ganntt museum hosts events often
