Foxy Shazam started at the bottom. I once ran lights for them in the basement of a bar in Cincinnati. They were very theatrical. I knew that they were going to make it big. The band had some previous names such as Train of Thought, but I'm not sure about any changes in the line up. Proud of you guys. Knock em dead!!!
They added Alex, and that's about it. I had an indirect hand in Alex getting in the band. My band used to play with Banderas a lot and also a band from Oxford called Look Afraid that Alex fronted. The guys in Banderas and Foxy went to school together so they were friends and knew they were looking for a dynamic horn player. Alex fit the bill perfectly, he blended in like he'd always been there from the start.
