A lot of people seemed to ignore the dialogue and didn't think about what they were actually saying in this fight, I'm so glad you did! I too kept thinking about what Mavuika said with "this is about more than the Tsaritsa". And you got a fair point about the Mondstadters lol
I feel the reason both childe and capitano have the claw hand gloves, is because its a very simple reason. Childe is a Capitano glazer, he looks up to Capitano a lot.
Thanks to this video I can now apply another connotation to the way of speaking from capitano to mavuika. It really seems that it is a matter that concerns him, as if it were from Natlan, but if we apply the theory of the bloodstained knight and the knowledge that there is of the Comedia dellarte about capitano (who is a braggart) it turns out that the way of speaking of capitano, is even comical, attributing the right to solve problems that do not concern him due to his obsession with justice and goodhood
i mean, he's really just a man obsessed with doing justice and solving problems that neither suit him nor come to him, in his head he is a hero and a savior. He really seeks good but he is crazy, so crazy that it even makes you wonder if the problems he solves really concerns him.
5:05 Fair, honestly fair explanation Mondstaters are built different. I mean their first feat was fight a god. 5:52 If he is Roland, who was also very chivalrous that means he was Signora's friend, Rostam's student and Maiden Beloved's possible lover.
**INCOMING ESSAY NO ONE WILL READ** Okay, after Natlan released, so far it really looks like he’s Roland / The Bloodstained Knight. for all anyone knows of Roland’s whereabouts, the bloodstained set’s descriptions suggest the last time he was heard was in the depths of the Abyss and pledging his loyalty to them at the time. He could’ve been recruited and swayed by Pierro however and is the way he is because it’s not specifically stated if Roland was revived or in a undead state. so by the looks of that and how things seem and all the other things that connect to Roland with the Captain. + Abyss being a key part of the Natlan Arc? + Potentially Abyss Powers? + Revival of Signora in Natlan and creating his new laws for Natlan of “Justice”? yeah no, he has to be Roland. I literally see no one else who could be the Captain / IL Capitano. The whole morale of the Bloodstained Knight story is “Blind Justice against Corrupt Injustice” and the sarcrifices and the consequences with following your own path of Justice. Justice follows with Law and Order. yet even Law and Order can either be “destroyed”, replaced, or renewed. just saying, it makes the most sense to me. I can still see a possible scenario where Pierro convinces Roland. Especially since Pierro does give “Joker” vibes. The deceptive or well-knowledgeable type of person who may also have ties with the Abyss and the “Kingdom” that had the ultimate “injustice” done to them. 1. Capitano and Roland both have the strongest desire for “Righteousness” and “Justice” 2. Both are Knights with a disciplined mind and heart for morale even in their own perspectives. 3. Both are potentially tied to the Abyss 4-?. Schematics. point is; I see no one else being Capitano other than Roland. But if we wanna talk more about the Natlan aspect then take a look at Capitano’s constellation. It could very well be described or theoretically possible at a nod to Christianity, where Christ, Crucified by “3 nails” to a Cross endured and was sacrificed for the forgiveness of all of mankind’s sin. As “by his blood” we are “clean” and “forgiven” for our wrongdoings as we are called to for forgive others of theirs. Not to mention Christ was “resurrected” and so are we when we believe in him. (This one is just a theory too so don’t take it too seriously lol)
Interesting theory, good job on holding onto a Bloodstained Knight theory. Inconsistencies noted: 👉 Being a Fatui harbinger and an Abyss agent at the same time is not easy to defend, especially when the abyss does not discriminate but intends to wreak havoc on all nations alike 👉 The fate of the Bloodstained Knight remains unknown. His unchanging will to fight for justice and his appearance are the only things sustaining your theory, yet they can be explained away with other theories 👉 The abyss order and the Fatui are two very different organizations with very different goals. Only the abyss order and the traveler know about the loom of fate. The Fatui have a Project Stuzha in motion. Il Capitano has no time to play double agent considering only one gnosis remains 👉 Establishing an abyss-governed state will bring about its inevitable implosion since the abyss has been devastating Natlan variously per tribe. Two wrongs don't make a right. And, that is not justice. The Bloodstained Knight should know better than to solve an abyss problem with an Abyss solution. 👉 Your Bloodstained Knights theory has unclear and inadequate correspondence with the 4.8 Simulanka event. All "x.8" versions have successfully foreshadowed upcoming nations, and Natlan may be no different. 👉 Does Thoma have a Monstadt themed pyro vision or an Inazuman one? The Monstadters example was weak and unnecessary. 👉 Abyssal power or Cryo delusion or both? It's got to be one of them, right? So, let's say he's got cryo delusion powers, and abyss-related claw-like hands (or gauntlets, if that's what they are). I'll stop there. Thank you for the good theory. Interesting cooking regardless. 😊
For me, I think the Bloodstained Knight is not an Abyss agent. Yes, the lore said he pledged his loyalty to the Abyss, doesn’t mean it is the Abyss Order. He seeks justice for the people of Khaenri’ah that are cursed. Pierro who is a Khaenri’ahn, saw this and decided to recruit him. This is just my simple speculation.
He glows though similar to all the other Natlan characters when you observe him fighting Mavuika. It seems like he uses phlogiston like the rest of the Natlan characters. Unless he is like the traveller who can use it too which is not likely. I don't think he is the bloodstained knight, I think I lean more towards the theory of him being Xbalanque's brother.
Natlan people never leave Natlan, meanwhile Capitano was in Monstadt and Snezhnaya for a lengthy amount of time. Nobody ever said anything about him using flogistone and no one mentioned it. Not even Mavuika. So it was most likely just SFX to match Mavuika glow. If it was actually flogistone Mavuika would immediately know that, yet everyone seemed puzzled about why he knew that much about Natlan. In Natlan's teaser, Mavuika asks Capitano if he is "brave enough to compete", which makes sense if we consider that he is NOT Natlanian, thus can't be revived. It takes MASSIVE balls to fight an Archon as a mere human without having a chance for revival.
@@heartoftarassquePeople from natlan can leave natlan, mavuika literally says it in the archon quest, the reason people dont leave is because the wayob cant offer them protection once they leave Natlan. While it would be a problem for the average natlan native, capitano, the first of the fatui harbingers, i dont feel like he would be remotely afraid or powerless to stop whatever threat leaving natlan would impose on him, and even if he did or does suffer in some way shape or form, the harbingers surely have some form of solution between the 11 of them. On top of that, i also agree that Capitano is originally from natlan, when he uses his powers in the fight it looks almost as if he is in the nightsoul blessing state
Even if Capitano is the bloodstained knight (which is definitely possible) I don’t think he’s alligned with the abyss at all. I think he wants to defeat the abyss as well. The bloodstained knight killed abyssal monsters. And people corrupted by the abyss. He wouldn’t ally with such a corrupting force. Also the tsaritsa and fatui in general aren’t abyss alligned. Dottore might be fine with abyssal power, but everyone else seems against it. And Childe got that power from Skirk who got it from Surtalogi, and he used it to to FIGHT HIS WAY OUT OF THE ABYSS. Not to help the abyss. The fatui are not alligned with the abyss. The tsaritsa isn’t out here letting abyssal corruption happen all over snezhnaya.
There is an another alternative destroy the pyro throne and return the elemental authority back to the dragons. If that happens I think it will return the saurian that we meet in the first quest in natlan will be the new pyro sovereign
What if Capitano know "The Sage of Stolen Flame" since he know the rule of Natlan (only 2 individual know it) I guess he is "Vedrfolnir" or "Waxaklahun Ubah Kan". Or he is highly chance to be Blood Stained Knight similar to lore in Artifact.
vedrfolnir is the sinner who was instrumental to the founding of the abyss order. considering capitano is part of the fatui harbingers, who are separate from the abyss order in goal and motive, it’s really unlikely he is vedrfolnir. it’d be really inefficient for their mission if he played double agent as a founding member of the abyss order and one of the harbingers.
This all kinda makes sense but then again he used nightsouls blessing which should be exclusive for natives of natlan and that complicates a bit part about his nationality imo
Very good video, obviosly is just a teory but it have sense, the things im not agree is that the Cryo power could not be a delusion, but have the black aura because maybe he is from Natlan, and he have that aura that all characters from Natlan have, and in the trailer of the next version he seems to want to save humanity and dont show any relatioship with the Abbys, one of my teorys is that he is one of the chosen ones from Mavuika plan, probably from the Cryo tribe
I still don't think that Celestia is the real villain. From what we know so far, they used to take care of humans and work with the Archons to look after their people. Plus, the Sustainer is Kiana so... Something must have happened along the way specifically during the Cataclysm that greatly went over the principle laid out by them for humanity's own interest.
What if he really was the bloodstained knight and was originally from Natlan and lived alongside Vanessa's tribe? We knew Vanessa went to Mondstadt, so Capitano might have as well. Then the events follow he discovers Khaenri'ah and had ties with the abyss, and that might have had to do with why he still has memories from the past despite leaving Natlan? Which would explain why he cares so much about Natlan's salvation?
