This plexi visor is for the synth heads we are working on, it's transparent, but you can paint it with Idye-poly, or if you good with foil you can apply darkening car window foil on it.
But the best is to actually get a dark painted plexi in the first place.
Soon we will put transparent and dark painted version on to sale in our Etsy site. :3

Note: keep from having the heat in one place for too long because ,depending on thickness, can create bubbles and stress marks. And if using a vice to hold in place I recommend finding a nonflammable material to place between the plexiglass and metal to prevent scratches and fog.

Thank you so much for making these awesome resources! I was wondering- how did you tint your plexiglass after using this process?
Overall, Phenomenal work and great presentation.
(Edit- just read your description, thank you again!)

Could this work for a protogen visor too? I know that the close-ended front would require the cutting and fusing of material like EVA foam, but is is still doable?

no, the complex shape of a protogen requires vacuum forming

Thank you so much for putting this together. I'm going to give it a try. Where to place the guide lines for the bends? It looks like you were measuring in a bit from the corners??? Is that right? How far in?
