I don't think anyone is too old at all, I've been collecting them since 2002 when I was a teenager. By collecting the stickers in the album every 4 years it's a record of sporting history so becomes a historical document. People who say you are too old are just stupid!

At the end of the day, as much fun as it is, this becomes a gambling addiction especially when you want to complete the album and do not have people to trade with.
I remember for the World Cup Italy 90, I was 5 years old I was in the school and I bought a few stickers and I got Maradona and I remember that many of the older kids there they were chasing me, literary begging me to swap Maradona for a bunch of sticker, I still remember pretty clear telling them ‘’but why do you want me to give you this sticker anyway I think I don’t have it’’, and when I reached home and show my uncle my news stickers he went crazy when he saw Maradona in my hands and then he asked me if the older kids wanted to swap that stickers. I remember that Italy 90 was my first album and my last one was South Africa 2010, i didn’t get Brazil because I was traveling to much that year and no I have to get Russia 2018. Collecting panini albums bring me back such a good memories.

steven clark I spent as well lot of money back then, specially when you are a kid, and in those ages it is not easy to get money, i remember to ask money, to my uncles and aunties, mom and dad, but the one spoiling me a lot was my grandfather(RIP), he always bought me many stickers and giving me money to buy more and we use to spend time in my living room checking which player was missing and how many sticker I needed to complete the album, i have many good memories and stories about panini World Cup albums.

In Brazil is massive. They give the album for free at schoolls so the kids just have to buy the stickers. My father still own to this day the 1982 one completed. I have the 2006, 2010, 2014 it was a joy to trade the stickers as a kid. Now I'm currently at college and still its a thing, in fact i was trading stickers with my professors today hahaha

I can’t wait for the 2018 album! I started collecting when I was 14 during World Cup South Africa in 2010. I wasn’t able to complete that album or the 2014 Brazil album but I still have them and I look through them often. The Panini albums are just as much a part of the World Cup as Soccer is to the World Cup
Josh Nunez you can get the stickers you are missing on eBay - I'm slowly working through getting the rest of the stickers for my albums (collecting since 2002).
I’ve the same age, but I am collecting since 2006. But I am from The Netherlands so I skipped the album of 2018, because we didn’t qualify. Can’t wait for the album this year!

i’ve been collecting them for the last 3 world cups now, whenever i have some pocket change even if it’s just the $1 i would walk to the nearest store and just get the 1 pack, even if i got duplicates i knew i could trade them at school or around the neighborhood, it’s really fun and addicting i would even ask my dad for money and he would go with me to the store and help me complete it

Goshh, one of my hobbies. I collect the albums since 2010 when i was 5 years old. I remember that my mother always bought to me 2 or 3 packs to fill the album. Same thing happened in 2014. Such great memories!! :)

I am huge fan as a Brazilian, and i also collected all the albums for the past 3 WC. But now i moved to US and I CANT FIND IT. I will have to buy it online and i have no idea how i will trade it. Probably i will send it to my brother in Brazil. Panini says that the album would be available in all major retails(Walmart, Target, Walgreens). In Florida, no chance to find it at all.
I never got excited about the stickers but the cards I spent more than 200$ on one-year champions league and when the world cup 2014 came I swear the god I spent even more than that

I have my first and only panini Album for the USA '94. Never completed it, since I was the only one in my neigborhood who have it. I was 12 at that time.
I remember my first album which was the 2014 Brazil edition I wasted months and money collecting stickers it was upsetting when my book ripped and only had left was 19 stickers to complete the book i had fun memories

ExposedTalent it’s out already, they kind of just pick players that get constant call ups, it’s an estimate. Some players that don’t go to the World Cup are in the album.

it was more the league book I would get this as well over the summer and go back to school with huge pile of stickers to swap to try and finish the book never did except if you sent away for them... finished the league once but never world cup...

Where do you buy a panini album and packs in USA?
I've always had better luck with sporting goods stores like Modell's and Dick's than with Walmart or Walgreens. That said, I don't know how the lack of a US presence in the cup might change things. There are also a lot of online options, though that seems less fun to me somehow.
I got my booklet at Walgreens for $2, which came with about 12 stickers included. The sticker packs are $1 and they contain 5 stickers. Honestly, completing the entire thing will be no joke as there are about 670 spots to fill.
