charlesthebrick I've collected since 2002 each World Cup and it's great fun and then you've got some sporting history there. It's cool to look over the old faces in years to come and reminisce.
I still love collecting them, I try and finish an album of course but even if I don't its still fun. I always open the pack and lay them out face down before sticking them in so I get suprised, there is just something special about it. I also agree with the Panini cheapskates guy about it not being so popular 10-15 years ago, I was 10 during the 2002 WC and I don't remember the stickers at all
Yes I completely agree. Like a puzzle its a really relaxing hobby I think. To just get an album on anything you like and just stick the stickers in and it becomes a nice art book by the end. I don't tend to ever complete my albums but it's just fun to do.
_No Panini in my country but I had photoshopped all 1st 11 players of big clubs in Europe and send it to my mate printing shop to turn them to stickers...I have faces, full body and acrobatic version of the players...The best of all is shiny Messi's sticker which I had print on books, mugs and magnetic fridge decorators..._
I'm here from the future to let you know they have been out since the end of August, but I got mine a few weeks before the world cup started and I think I am halfway through the stickers. I am going to get 2018 sticker album, so I can complete it, even if I am 4 years late.
@@kamstilldabest2003 I still need to get my Qatar album it's just I don't really want to support a government that killed a bunch of their workers due to rushed design and lack of safety
8:35 I was there at that National Football Museum and walked around the Panini swap. I brought stickers but I was already finished with my German version hard cover and I was finishing up the Gold edition album but no one there had it. I also went upstairs to see Maradona's t-shirt, the one he scored with his hand. It's a great place and would love to visit it again for swapping in four years.
This was a very well put together segment. I thoroughly enjoyed watching it. Thank you for producing this! Here in Canada we call them foil stickers - neat to hear you call them shiny stickers. Indeed it was like gold whenever you opened a pack with them!
make america gay again I still collect them too each World Cup - it's a relaxing activity and is a great bonding experience with others. Society will tell us we should 'grow out of it' but society does not speak to every individual and if something, regardless of what it is helps people and gives them a reason to get up in the morning no one has a right to judge it - keep collecting!!
7:00 They're not even looking at the players on the stickers, just calling out what numbers they're missing. That kinda takes the fun and spirit out of it and just turns it into a game of bingo.
Completed the 2018 World Cup panini album. I’m 39. Am I sad?? The first one I completed was the Mexico 86 one, then football 87, 88, and 89. Wish I still had them now. The Mexico one completed is worth quite a lot now.
Mr Kipling yeah if it makes you feel relaxed and you enjoy it, then no one has a right to knock it. If they do, well that's just a reflection of their own misery because happy people don't feel the need to put others down.
Mr Kipling thank you that's very nice to hear! Well they are trolls because they don't deal with their issues in a constructive way, hence feel the need to attack others to feel better for a short time but it never works. Happy content people don't feel the need to do that. But with behaviour, it's a choice. You can choose to be better or chose to be self destructive and I just find it sad that people just don't deal with their issues in the right way and think it's clever to just insult people. But thank you for the compliment! 😁
I'm 30 and I collect the stickers if I can't find any albums available. I am hoping new ones come out soon. I would love to see some more variety this year so I can buy more :)
Go to the Panini website for your country and create an account and pick out your wanted stickrs and pay by credit card.... They may offer other methods... collectibles.panini.co.uk/home.html
The guy drawing the stickers... At first I found it weird because it doesn't have the same flair to it like collecting the actual stickers, but it's also kind of cool
In Germany there is a thing called "Zocken", where you basically can win the cards of someone without swaping. Yeah... a lot of school fights and tears, but it is so intense haha.
Not surprising since it's now 80p for a pack of 5 stickers!! When I was a kid (I'm only 20 now) they were only 35p and you got at least 7 in a pack from what I remember. I get that there's been inflation since then but that should only be an extra 10-15p max, not and extra 45p!!
PJ Harwood I remember when I was younger back in the 90s it was 20p a pack, the album was 50-70p and you also got stickers with the kids breakfast cereals so that bumped up your sticker numbers but it's so expensive today to complete albums. 80p- £1 for a packet of stickers is so expensive considering you can get food cheaper then that. I think if it's 80p to £1 you should get 8-10 stickers but money as they say is business.
It's crazy. I'm from Bosnia and I remember just over 10 years ago I could buy one pack of 5 stickers for just 0,50 KM (less than 25p). Now a pack of the same number of cards costs 1,50 KM. The cost tripled in a decade. It's just not worth it anymore!
Great video I’ve been to the National Football Museum recently in February some great things to do it’s worth a visit . The Hard Rock Cafe is next door
That one boy next to the sticker collecter doesn't like football. Sticker Collecter: Who here likes football? *Boy doesn't raise his hand* Me: GET THE HELL OUT! This is just a joke, I wouldn't really say that to a young innocent boy like him.
I’m from Argentina and everyone, children and adults collect the World Cup Panini Album. It’s still as popular as ever.
Nano Rodriguez and so we all should - it's great fun! 👍👍👍 and anyone who says otherwise is an old misery who clearly doesn't enjoy life.
I’m collecting today and have been since 2014. Got my dad back into it too. Wonderful

Always had been cards for me but recently have been getting into stickers

I remember world cup sticker album in my country in 2010 and 2014. But sadly, panini cannot sell in malaysia anymore.
This was a very well put together segment. I thoroughly enjoyed watching it. Thank you for producing this! Here in Canada we call them foil stickers - neat to hear you call them shiny stickers. Indeed it was like gold whenever you opened a pack with them!
I still collect them with my mom

Awesome to see! I haven't bought any stickers since the 2006 World Cup, dang, feels so long ago.
For me as a kid it was Panini stickers which moved on to match attax
I collected for years ...didnt do 2018...waited or the buzz to die and got on ebay..80p for 5 stickers was taking the piss
Michael Gardner I know, it used to be 20p a pack in the 90s!
Ik it’s literally getting so annoying now. This year they will be 90p for 5 stickers !!

Mr Kipling no you're not sad at all - like puzzles it's a very relaxing hobby.
greenkitty82 thanks for saying that. I find it relaxing I must admit.

greenkitty82 very true. How nice to speak with someone who is not a troll on RUclips for once!!

I'm 30 and I collect the stickers if I can't find any albums available. I am hoping new ones come out soon. I would love to see some more variety this year so I can buy more :)
Can you make a video on how to order your last 50 stickers from panini, and can it only be done before the World Cup ends??
Go to the Panini website for your country and create an account and pick out your wanted stickrs and pay by credit card.... They may offer other methods... collectibles.panini.co.uk/home.html
