All we keep being told is that there are no new stars stepping up but this is a prime example of why. ESPN and FS1 keep promoting these three. They don’t put any focus on the new generation at all. On any given day there might be 13 nba games but the next morning all they talk about is the lakers and maybe golden state. That’s it if they even talk basketball that isn’t wnba related. These shows tell us what’s important and yet they haven’t told any of us to care about anyone else.
The adage that "Rome was not built in a day" serves as a valuable reminder that we should not expect ESPN and other broadcasters to quickly shift their focus toward new contenders who have yet to achieve notable success. The presence of established figures in the industry is significant and warrants attention; it is important to approach the emerging talents with a measured perspective, particularly in a field where youth may often lead to increased challenges.
The Boston Celtics should be the face of the league at the moment. I’m not even a Celtics fan. I root for the Cavs. But the Celtics should be the face right now. They are a premier franchise. They’ve been in the playoff spotlight for 7-8 years.
@@MagicMike-n6usports is entertainment first and foremost. It’s storytelling. These shows that drive the narrative should be introducing us to the character we need to care about otherwise we’ll wake up one day and these three have retired and we haven’t invested anything in the new lead characters. If all these shows are going to do is “here’s a lakers story and then here’s a made up record LeBron set” the next generation is doomed. They decide who the stars are and they haven’t let go of this era that for the most part aren’t actual contenders for anything.
@@omieg89agreed. Now just get these shows to talk about it. It’s entertainment. Tell the story of the Celtics and the Cavs and Anthony Edward’s and on and on. These shows decide what’s important and for now focusing on legends that aren’t real contenders to win anymore has them stuck in the mud.
@@OurQuietDesperation yeah I agree. I think a major part of the problem is that the top 3 players in the NBA are without a doubt international. Jokic has no interest in being the face or being interesting plus Denver has fumbled the Nuggets roster construction. Luka is a little interesting but his constant whining to the refs is a huge turn off. Plus he’s a major ball stopper. Giannis is super interesting only because he is good in front of the cameras. The Bucks situation has gone a bit stale. It might be best for the NBA if the Bucks get back into the spotlight and face the Celtics at some point.
They really change the game. Lebron = be friend every player and jump teams to get a ring. Steph = made the league a 3 point shoot out. KD = All Big man can be a shooting guard, chuck 3s and jump teams to get a ring.
All three guys took turns being the best player during the 2010's decade, and all three guys are all time great players. The 2020's is gonna be all about Giannis, Jokic, Wemby, and maybe Luka.
Luka is definitely a top 3 for 2020 onwards, he has a career average of 28-8-8 and since 2020 he has been averaging slightly higher. Some of his seasons are literally MJ calibre seasons.
Crazy part is LeBron & Kobe in 2008/09 could have the same type of interview as the GOATs of the league at that time. KD was young and only breaking out. Steph Curry had barely played let alone a starter in the NBA. Now LeBron is still here with these guys.
I speak for everyone when I say.... THIS IS THE SOFTEST GENERATION OF STARS EVER!!! All three of them teamed up to win championships. But I only respect Curry cause he did it twice without teaming up.
@@4THA Likewise. I'm a Rockets fan and hated him but I'll give credit where its due. Dude is such a normal dude, 6'3 underweight, and average athleticism. But his level of skill is on another world we haven't seen before. His ability to pull off his own shot and still shoot sub 45% from three I don't see being done again. We'll see another Lebron and KD in the future.
MJ literally had an all star teammate (Scottie Pippen) for every ring and the last couple being with Dennis Rodman as well, who may not have been an all star but he was leading the league in Rebounds two years in a row.
You can tell this is glaze when that was not even the topic and people bringing that one up. Always Curry Fans. @nwachukwuezeike522 just like how step went below 15% fg? In this past 2 years? U may say he is old, but kd and bron? Aren't they are old? They never dropped that kind of terrible performance in their career when they started dominating. NGL, Curry is way more inconsistent compare to lebron and kd. Cause nobody cares simple as that. That doesn't mean we doubting his greatness. Jokic himself doesn't even care. lmfao he would rather be with his horses back home. The NBA is just a job to him. You can be great at something but don't you mean love it. Same thing with normal folks going to work.
Can we just have one single game where it’s the warriors vs lakers vs suns 3 teams going up against each other yes 15 players on the court & 3 basketball goals. KD, LJ & Curry is the only reason today why I still watch the NBA. Idc some one make it happen.

Bro Lebron was playing with the unguardable pointguard that was arguably better than Steph at that time. Basically having KD on gsw against cavs should be a fair match. Having kd in warriors should be a fair match, but it didn't go well for Cavs and didn't stand a chance.

Once these 3 are gone the league won’t be the same
All we keep being told is that there are no new stars stepping up but this is a prime example of why.
Steph ruined the NBA with all the 3 point shooting, KD ruined the Cavs - Warriors rivalry with that snake move to Golden State
In a matter of 6-9 months, they became OGs
All three guys took turns being the best player during the 2010's decade, and all three guys are all time great players. The 2020's is gonna be all about Giannis, Jokic, Wemby, and maybe Luka.
Sadly looks like Ja may not be in the convo…what a fricken waste!
Wemby is about a decade younger than Giannis and Jokic they can’t be in the same era 😂
Luka is definitely a top 3 for 2020 onwards, he has a career average of 28-8-8 and since 2020 he has been averaging slightly higher. Some of his seasons are literally MJ calibre seasons.
This is amazing honestly 🤞💐❤️
Crazy part is LeBron & Kobe in 2008/09 could have the same type of interview as the GOATs of the league at that time. KD was young and only breaking out. Steph Curry had barely played let alone a starter in the NBA.
Now LeBron is still here with these guys.
3 legends in basketball history will be remembered forever. 🇺🇸🇧🇷🤙🏻
Seeing the 3 of them sitting down together was cooler than I thought. Respect
I speak for everyone when I say.... THIS IS THE SOFTEST GENERATION OF STARS EVER!!! All three of them teamed up to win championships. But I only respect Curry cause he did it twice without teaming up.
same... won 2 without a super team atleast and what he did in those last 2 olympics games was pretty special brought the us gold when it mattered
@@skyz6708Lebron had many many more future hall of Famers and All-Stars and still lost and came up short of Jordan ;) that’s a fact

Not hating on Curry, but kd and bron is way above curry for being best at being individual players.
Three of the are the best at their own way.
If you wanna be a leader, go for lebron.
If you wanna be an offball effective player, go for step.
If you wanna play pure hooping with complete skill set of scoring, go for KD.
@BPGamer0110 Steph beats Lebron in head to head and wad more influential on Basketball as a whole.
So don't think that Step is the best among them.
@@BPGamer0110Steph will be the last one to get a ring
I want a much longer version of this, atleast an hour long of just these 3 legends talking about basketball
Steph got me back into NBA basketball, the day he retires is the day I'll forget the NBA again
This is gonna be one of those interviews we keep coming back to for decades
Jokic has been best player last 3-5 seasons, but nobody talks about him
Jokic and Luka, interchangeably tf u smoking
Cause nobody cares simple as that. That doesn't mean we doubting his greatness. Jokic himself doesn't even care. lmfao he would rather be with his horses back home. The NBA is just a job to him. You can be great at something but don't you mean love it. Same thing with normal folks going to work.
He's white that's why
@@prestoCreams definitely not interchangeable
Yet had how many rings to prove it? Gotta win more if u what to be talked about.
People forget Steph went from the kid at Davidson a small college that LeBron & KD watched his games to their teammate & his own level of of greatness
We need an hour long version of this.
Can we just have one single game where it’s the warriors vs lakers vs suns 3 teams going up against each other yes 15 players on the court & 3 basketball goals. KD, LJ & Curry is the only reason today why I still watch the NBA. Idc some one make it happen.
Lebron how was the Diddy party?😊
These 3 would be an unstoppable 2K team
3 legends.
Gonna miss these three especially kd and bron man
These three players transformed the league. Same way Jordan, Kobe, magic, bird and wilt did.
Just reminds me of that Kobe annd Lebron interview from the last generation! Lebron is in both!
It really is absolutely incredible for someone to push themselves every single day for 21 years
Gil was wrong! LeBron vs Steph is indeed a rivalry
3 Players | 10 Rings 🔥
Historic, we’ll talk about this for years to come
Watching this interview brings tears to my ears cus whether you love or hate all 3 of these Greats u know u will definitely miss them once they hang it up for Shure

The 3 guys I looked up to growing up……💯💯won’t be the same after they retire
Diddy boy in the middle
Legends please don’t retire

Man these three came from an era that's so different from what we have today and yet here they are doing greatness at the age of late 30s, it's sad to say but the 2000s-2010s stars are now a dying breed of greatness and soon these 3 would be retired as well.

Steph has played Lebron 1x since 2018.

this will be a transition period similar to when kobe took over the face of the league from mj, didn't happen right away. once lebron and steph retire there's no clear cut face of the league
NBA will die the day LeBron and curry are done playing
I disagree their more stars now in the league like JT and Alexander or ant man
@ firmly believe none of those guys you just said will ever reach the peak LeBron and curry got to in 13’ or 22’
LeBron has been k..ling this league for over a decade
I appreciate all 3 of these guys play
Bron and his sons that needed each other to face him
Bro
Lebron was playing with the unguardable pointguard that was arguably better than Steph at that time.
Basically having KD on gsw against cavs should be a fair match.
Between 2 best SF or whatever role were they, and two best PG at that era.
If you think this, Curry struggled against Kyrie, but adding lebron on with Kyrie?
Having kd in warriors should be a fair match, but it didn't go well for Cavs and didn't stand a chance.
0:46 I love the way she highlighted the one who won less games
