    Nice video! Great diversity of sea life and first time captures.
    "That's it, buddy, you just keep filming that." 😂 😆

      Yeah, it's not the first time something like that happened while trying to capture something small. Hopefully, the 5x zoom on the 15 will help me see a bit more clearly/closely and avoid such scenarios int he future.

    I love your videos. They were a huge help when we visited Grand Cayman earlier this year. My amateur at best video at Sunset House is nearing 100k views, and we wouldn’t of been there at all if we hadn’t found your channel.
    Thank you for this video, we also love Bonaire and this will help us plan our return to there…hopefully 2025!

      Well, they're doing their job if they inspired you to visit and shore dive! :-) We're glad you enjoy them, Matt.

    Another great video! This year I decided to try another place for diving and just returned from Roatan. I really liked the island and diving. It is all wall diving which is very different than Bonaire. I would give to edge to Bonaire in terms of the health of the reef, more sea life, and better visbility.

      Roatan is on our list; but unfortunately not in the next couple of years. We have Raja and Bali in January, then Curaçao until April, plus we're building a house. (No more renting!) It is good to hear Bonaire's relative condition to other places. Ping us the next time your here.

      oh WOW re: Raja and Bali. We had found a liveaboard boat snorkel trip in Raja but haven't seriously looked into it further. We've not snorkeled in Asia yet. Will be really interested to see your impressions!

      @@vahinewahine916 We've been to Wakatobi a couple of times and loved it. (Oh the muck diving!!!!) Thought it might be good to branch out a bit with Raja and try out Bali itself. There will definitely be videos! 🙂

      Stoney coral tissue loss disease not withstanding, the reefs are still in very good condition, particularly north and south. Not sure where else you have been diving; but it is a top spot in the Caribbean and definitely worth a visit. :-)

    yet another fantastic video. as snorkelers, we've been renting a boat one or two days to moor at good snorkeling sites, but it looks like Alice is a bit farther south than the boat company will let us go. Looks like we'll have to drive to this one on our next visit.

      @TropicLens  10 месяцев назад

      Oh my gosh, yes! There are so many other sites to explore that might be outside of the boat limitations. They're well worth the drive...although boat entries are certainly better than some of the land entries. :-)

      @@TropicLens on our first trip, we drove up and down and stopped at anywhere that looked interesting - I think Alice wasn't marked as a "good snorkel site" on the card we had so we skipped it. We get a lot of conflicting info, depending on which reference map/card we use.

      @@vahinewahine916 Ha! Ain't that the truth. There's a big difference between what's easy for a 20-30 something and a 50-60 year old. Hopefully, the Site Logistics sections in the videos give a good idea of whether or not it fits your individual capabilities/comfort/risk tolerance. 🙂
