I'll save your time: 5:59 (you need to download demo version and pick "prime" upon activation. And no, "prime" version does not support VTS's, so it's basically useless and you don't need it anyway)
Thanks for the video - very helpful! I am one of those people that uses Sphere :-). However, I have a bandmate that just needs simple recording functionality and the ability to interact in my Sphere collaboration space. So, Prime is actually a great fit for him. Not for everyone (see other comments!) but to each their own.
they kicked the prime feature comparison from the web page too bad to not see upfront what you get would love to test as they announced to have a linux version now
@@andreadenti831 I love Logic Pro as well, but for those w/o a Mac, Studio One is a great alternative. I use both and see strengths (and need for improvement) in both.
Bandlab is being phased out, in favor of 2 new paid versions(Cakewalk Next & Sonar.) I never liked Bandlab...as it's a very cluttered & bloated mess. Tracktion Waveform Free is the only decent offering(that has some included sounds.) S1 v6 Prime does have 3rd party plugin support, but they did away with the Mojito synth & mastering FX.

I agree. Version 6 has even more limitations other then no VST compared to the previous versions, which makes Ver 6 useless now.
You saved a lot of time. Thanks.

Thanks for your comment. Although very limited, but one can make it work depending on your recording needs.

They introduced even more limitations than the previous version, I can’t recommend Prime, other than simple podcast or karaoke music recordings 🙂
Studio One can be used with a Threadripper? :)
No clue, as I don't have $10K at the moment to try it out :)
It is possible to use third part plug in in prime version?
No.
Is it still available for free
Read the video title even if you don’t want to watch the video.
No good, too many restrictions. No plug ins. Cakewalk eats it.
I agree! Maybe it have nice and for me very intuitive workspace and some other good things.., but Cakewalk is the King!!!
logic pro

No interest even if it’s free.
I understand. Since then I discovered few more limitations that didn’t exist before.
It’s rubbish.
I don't see how when it comes with a crazy amount of effects
