I mean, I get it that some folk feel like they can only catch fish with a higher brand/quality of equipment. But always remember: The fish really don't care what type of reel, rod, line, and hook that's being used to catch them. They're only interested in whatever looks like food or a threat to their fry. That is all. Nice video BTW, thanks for posting.
Thanks for your support of Zebcos! They tend to get discriminated against way too much. The 33 Gold and 33 Platinum have more ball bearings and are both smoother. If you want, you can super tune that 33 and add more ball bearings to make it smoother. I show how it is done on a video. I have not super tuned the 2020 model yet, but it is nearly exactly the same as the model before.
Funny thin most that think these 33’s can’t do it. Hell there are people who have used this reel to put food on the table and caught more species in one of these than probably any other reel idk why people think they won’t handle bass
I have the old one and the new one ,the old one clicks louder ,metal gears ,top notch I've hook some big ones with the 33 ,I have all the Zebco line ,I have an omega I haven't even casted out ,tight lines people.
We caught a bunch of fish as a kid with zebcos. I have some expensive reels that I purchased to look cool but the reality is that when I have a zebco 33 or a 404 reel, I am as well equipped as anyone else on the lake.
I'm glad to see you casting a spincast with your left hand. I believe that is the way to do it with the reel handle on the right side or move the reel handle to the left side and cast with the right hand. 🙂
I have a 33 max for my kids worm pole. I have a vintage 888 on my catfish pole and a 33 platinum on my medium 2 piece for smaller fish. All have caught me some wall hangers
My first Zebco 33 was given to me about52 years ago and it was a very solid and smoothe metal reel. I bought another 33 around 5 years ago and it was built much differently than the old one.
Oh, come on, buddy! White bass? If they're chasing shad you dont need any little light baits. You could throw horse shoes at 'em and they'd hit. But yep, the old 33 is a good, dependable, versatile reel for everything from pan fish to catfish. I've got a collection of zebcos from the early 60s to the present and my very first old zebco 33 is still going strong.
Super relaxing video and commentary man. I did enjoy the video and I love the zebco 33. Now for the grinding sound you need to clean and use reel lube.
Spinning reels also are good for casting lighter, smaller lures since the line comes out freely. Baitcasters are good for heavier lures.Since the spool spins, unlike a spinning reel where a rotor spins the line on the spool, light lures aren’t too good for baitcasters. Spincasters are easy to use and pretty simple. However, they have lower gear speeds, it can be a good thing or a bad thing, but every reel has its time for something. I primarily use spinning reels but I use my baitcasters as well. Happy fishing!
I swear the fish can sense when it’s a push button and it seems the shittier the quality of one the bigger the fish will be……. Caught more big fish on an ole push button zebco than any other
I agree with that. When I go cat fishing in the boat I always bring the 40 year old war eagle rod/reel. We call it shitty pole. It’s like a curse on the boat when we don’t bring it. Got nearly $1500 between my 3 other poles but it’s like the fish can sense how much they cost, and go for the war eagle lol.
Bob Ross of fishing. Thank you 🙏
lol Thank you 😁
The type of video that brings back memories and brings a smile to your face.... Something about those Zebcos 33's.
yes Sir! I agree😁
thank you so much for watching 😃😃💯

I really like bank fishing videos, and panfish is my favorite to catch cook. no boat / kayak. FISH ON !
I just bought one for my Grandson.
It was so smooth to use and cast so far…I had to buy myself one!

@@yesterdaytech9569 they are awesome. Luckily they are not very expensive 😀😀
Thank you for watching😀😀
Great video
Thx
I love the zebco reels and have used them for over 30years. some may not like them but who cares...
Lol. I hear ya! If it works for so many years why change a good thing! 😁😁
Thank you for watching 😃
I just ordered the zebco bullet!!!
Is there a benefit to a zebco reel, verses a spinning or baitcasting reel?
yes you can cast very small baits a long distance easily with the zebco.
Spinning reels also are good for casting lighter, smaller lures since the line comes out freely. Baitcasters are good for heavier lures.Since the spool spins, unlike a spinning reel where a rotor spins the line on the spool, light lures aren’t too good for baitcasters. Super tune that zebco and that’s all you will use…..
Yes for sure😃
Can change side of reel?
Yes you can change it from Right hand crank to Left hand easily by removing the screw on the opposite side and inserting the handle into that hole.😀😀
I have that kind of rod I'm a kid
awesome! you know whats good 😀😀

I agree also. Seems the bigger fish always hit the smallest/crapiest setup you hsve
