This is the best evening gown with the little sisters ever! And still perfect execution and well organized as well as the music is timing for every top 10 girls and of course the classic You Are My Star. This is one of the best evening gown competition in the pageant history, very classic!
I love this part of the MU evening gown competition with the little sisters and the "you are my star" background music. Ahhhh nostaglia feels! For me, the 80's and 90's were really the golden era of Miss Universe.
As far as I can recall, it was in 1994 that the delegates did not wear their sashes during the evening competition as it showed its full splendor. I also noticed that the half sashes or pinned sashes on the evening gown segments were discontinued as of this year.

Not sure how Mona Grudt Scored Miss Colombia with 9.43? Had her score been higher, Miss Colombia would have passed 9.9, thus making her really difficult for anybody else to surpass. Miss Colombia's night gown record from 1994 still stands 'to this day. Since many years the scores for any segment have not been shown, we'll never know indeed whether it's been shattered. However, I believe her counterpart from Miss Universe 2015 and Miss universe winner, Paulina Vega, could have surpassed it But like I said, we'll never know!!!!
Incredible Mann but as Angela said the highest and lowest scores are deleted and the rest are averaged so it didn't really matter if she scored her too low. I don't agree with her score though - Colombia was exquisite that night (or morning - in the Philippines haha)
