Seems like Knies is developing a special talent for knowing the exact right moment to charge the net!
Great game from Woll, McCabe, Domi, Marner, Rielly, Lyubushkin, and Knies. Hopefully we can keep this up next game with Matthews potentially coming back in the lineup for game 6. I’m praying to the hockey gods that the powerplay will come alive lol
I had planned a "last Leafs' game of the year party" with copious amounts of suds to drown my sorrows. What a pleasant surprise to realize that I can give myself even more self induced brain damage with at least one more last game of the year party. But seriously, there was a lot to love about last night's game. The part I especially liked was when Holmberg, one of our fringe players took Marchand, the Bruins' greatest offensive threat off of the ice. We'll take that trade off all day long.
Now they just have to figure out how to beat the Bruins at home.
Holmberg had a great game. Loved Knies going at Pasta too. Enjoy part 2 of the party.
