This was my very first visit to Serbia. I had never visited this country before. However, I've had Serbia on my list since 3 years. Covid-19 sure slowed things down but I am glad things are getting back to normal. So this is my first episode in the Serbia Travel vlog 2021 series. In this vlog, I am talking about how to visit Serbia from dubai, what documents you need to check in and what the flight costed and where to buy your sim card from. And I talk about the 1 most important tip for solo travel. I don't have many tips yet as this was my first solo travel ever. However, I do tell you what to do as soon as you arrive in Serbia.

Flying to Serbia from Dubai was a super smooth experience. I flew with the airline FlyDubai. They're are my preferred airline especially if you're looking for comfortable budget friendly travel. And as my first visit to Serbia, I would say it was surprisingly amazing. Serbia has many hidden gems which I will explore in the upcoming weeks. I just felt so drawn to this country that I couldn't help put together my first Group tour to Serbia. Celebrate NYE in Serbia. Kick off 2022 with a difference in a new charming country. Hey Gregory I’m doing great. I’m so glad that my videos have inspired you to take this trip. That’s my intention with these videos. Christmas and New year is an excellent time to visit Serbia. I wish you could have joined our group tour but you’re going for 2 weeks which is a good amount of time. You’ll have time to relax as well. So my suggestions is to land in Belgrade and spend 1 night there and next day head to Novi sad for at least 3 nights. Either you can tour Sremski karlovci petrovaradin fortress and fruska gora on your way from Belgrade to Novi sad or you can tour that from Novi sad. But avoid group tours. Trip to do a private one Sremski karlovci is amazing. I can share a tour company with you. They take you to a honey museum and wine tasting. It’s a cute town. Very chill. Spend an afternoon there. Go have a meal after those tastings. It’s lovely. If you have so many days in Novi sad head up north to subotica. It’s literally at the Hungarian border. I’m not sure if you’re driving, which would be ideal, if not then there is a bus that takes you there. It’s a 2 hour ride. Remember the days are shorter so start as early as you possibly can. Plus keep buffer for the weather unpredictability. After novi sad head you Zlatibor, western Serbia, base yourself in Zlatibor or if you feel slightly adventurous then spend 1 night in mokra gora, drvengrad and 2 nights in a holiday home in Tara national park, if you like hiking. If you don’t wanna jump that much then just stay in Zlatibor for 3 nights. I’ve the perfect Airbnb in Zlatibor. It’s 60m from the bus station. The cable car is right outside the house. It’s perfect. Get a private guide there and tour everything in western Serbia. The drina valley, waterfalls, stopica caves, keep 1 day hiking in Tara national park etc. Try to keep 3 full days in Zlatibor. So if you wanna make that 4 nights that’s fine too. Let me know what all info you need I can share all the links and numbers with you.

Amreen... Would love to join your group, but my daughter is just 10 could be hectic... You touched all the places I had in mind. Would add stopovers in Subotica for 2 - 3 days. I had Kopaonik too in mind, what Ur call? Planning 2 - 3 days in Belgrade itself atleast visit Church if not able to get an English service for Christmas they maybe Zlitabor for 3- 4 days, Novi Sad, Subotica.Hope the new mutation don't hamper any plans. I suggest you compare the car rental prices to the total it would cost for the bus fare to go everywhere you wanna go. Plus Zlatibor doesn’t have great public transportation. So you may need a tour guide with a car there or drive yourself. Get in touch with Marko +381 69 3226 316. Give him my reference. He can help you with all the tours in Zlatibor. Call Miroslav +381 63 532 194, he’s a guide for Novi Sad. And if you don’t want to call 10 different guides for your trip, then email Vesna, she’s helping me with the whole Serbian group trip too. She can design the whole trip for you too. Here’s her email. vesna@turorama.com. Give her my reference. For Belgrade I just used a free walking tour and a city tour of ZEMUN I booked from Viator. Hope that helped.

Hi Amreen, would love to but when we applied at the embassy in the reception we were told that Phlilippibr passport holders have a very little chance in getting a visa but we still applied despite that. Then after a week we got an email from the reception stating “the police of the republic of serbia refused all of you visas”. This embassy submission is the only worst experience we had our entire life in applying for visa been in some european countries which we had a very receiving and warmth treatment.

If you’re an Indian visiting serbia, you don’t need a visa at all.

Oh that’s too close if you need to apply for visa. I’m not sure how quickly you can get it. You need to contact the Serbian consulate closest to you to find out what documents you require and then apply. I think you need to push your trip a little.

If you’re an Indian then you don’t need visa. Fly dubai has direct flights to serbia everyday. The ticket costs vary depending on when you go.
