Hi Paul, I was under the impression that the 3th and 4th gen didn't have an air injection system. Do you have any documentation showing the AIS pipe going from the airbox to the engine? I only see a breather and drain pipe on the exploded views.
Yup, that looks correct and makes a lot of sense, thanks for pointing it out. I've obviously only worked on 1st and 2nd gen up to now and not seen this development. It appears that the hole I blocked up was just a crankcase breather and that's why the Woolich software no longer has the ability to turn off the solenoid because there isnt one!
A bike that's meant to echo bikes of the past should have a longer silencer at the rear. It wouldn't make so much noise with a larger volume silencer, which might stop the owner being grilled by the cops, which the shorty pipe is asking for !
Got one of these with the silver Akra aftermarket exhaust, and it looks great. Any popular bike place will see the police waiting to stop you with his stubby exhaust.
Nice vid Paul. Thanks for the insight.
Nice one Paul.
I'll bring mines round next year for you to work your magic.
Super vid, loads of info, cheers
Didn’t know XP could even power up anymore 🤣🤣
His neighbours are really going to love him.
Great Video but you could use a better mic set-up :)
@@darrengridley-haack7370 sort of. I think I maybe had the gain set a bit too high so operator error. Plus it’s a bit ‘echo-y’ in that room.

Agreed, a longer can would look the part

Great explanation, thanks!
Do you have any experience flashing with MT09/Tracer till '21 with modified stock exhausts?
it depends on what you mean by modified.
@motorcycle_workshop internals modified. S-pipe removed and/or extra holes in the walls.
So no figures or readout.....;Pointless!!!
Jeez that’s loud. Too loud, unrideable really.
