Toms voice was unique. Never replaceable. But love to see them still playing together.

This reinforces what a tight band this is, but also how Tom made them so much more.

Stills did a very fine version last nite on his tour with Judy Collins at Rev Hall in PDX. They also opened the show with "HANDLE WITH CARE" which is on their new album "Everyone Knows"

It’s a great thing Tom Petty wrote this song because I don’t know anyone who does not like this song or can’t relate to this song. sweet and simple. Mike seems good. Sounds “out of sight” as usual. Thanks everyone.🌻🎸🦆

Give Stills a break. He is mostly deaf in one ear and 30% in the other. I think he sounded better than I thought before clicking this very video. He has his moments, some bad, some good. Many people don’t even make it to 73 years, let alone still be playing live.

This was a very good autism benefit concert
What were the brands of the acoustic guitars that Stephen Stills, Chris Stills and Neil Young used?

its their choice, but if they are going to do this they need a Frontman who can do the vocals in pitch. Mr Stills is amazing, but I believe his days have come and gone due to age, smoking, health etc.. There is noone who could ever replace Tom. I think on principle alone Tom would not want someone taking his place, or trying to make cash off of their legacy. Obviously this is not a band on tour, and perhaps there is good closure for Mr Campbell and the other members to hear the songs and play them. Only they know if its right. If Stevie Nicks was 25 years younger, that might have worked. but now Mike is in Fleetwood Mac (at the sorry expense of Lindsey Buckinghams dismissal). Rock and roll is a long and winding road . .All I can really say is Tom Petty was a poet, a man of determination, and ethics, a southern gentleman and a soother of souls worldwide. One of the greats in history of Rock as he will be remembered.

Maybe let Jeff Lynne do some vocals.

Nice ... well, except for Stills' vocals.

Stills is basically deaf. His voice left him a long time ago. Nice to see him up and around, though. Keep in mind that he's a 70 year old man.

Not too bad. Stills voice has improved in the last. Couple of years actually

Stills doesn't have a voice here. An example of why some musicians should not keep singing but let others do it.

thats one of the reasons CSN is done.. (well Crosby is an asshole too). I saw Stevie Nicks in concert last year at 70 and she was good.. Stills has health issues and hearing problems.. for a charity its cool. The Heartbreakers need a young dude like Queen,, Adam Lambert. Eddie Vedder could do it but his tombre is different than Toms. Person has to be able to have a strong head voice and great pitch.. or the heartbreakers end in peace... as all things must pass.
