These reviews just make me hungry. Like, why am I not eating pizza every day? What am I doing with my life?
If you do start eating pizza everyday remember... If you can't tone it tan it.
Just make sure you’re hitting the cardio and weight lifting
I agree 100%. I don’t know how Dave doesn’t become a complete marshmallow…. Everyone makes these obscene comments he’s into the cocaine….. not a chance ….. it’s unreal genetics.
@@matthewraco3691 Well he used to be over weight. So he probably does work out often.
@@matthewraco3691 he doesn't eat the entire pizza
50 years, 61 years, same thing. Man, that was a good looking pie. Love me some crispy bubbles!
You beat me to it! Haha hilarious!
Classic Dave, looks at the slice he is eating, shaking his head, a few more bites, looks at the pie in the box shaking his head. You can see the calculating going from his mouth to his brain! Awesome!
How tf is that pizza not in the 8's? Dave even went for a second slice.
He's been inconsistent and unpredictable ever since he went to Canada
The Greek threw him off kilter
Dave forgot to use ky. Everybody knows the rules
he's being overly critical
@@9385dee7 naw its the gf, ever since he started dating the gold digger his refuse have been off kilter
if davey finishes the slice and goes back for seconds it has to be an 8.1, the people know it, everybody knows the rules...
tighten up Davey tighten up
Best review I've seen in a while. It's the little things I enjoy. Like the flour all over the pizza man. And the fact they didn't even know about Davey boy, "which he respects". I'd love to hang out in Watertown and eat a slice with these guys. Salt of the earth I tell ya.
Since they didn’t know him, you would think they wouldn’t take selfies, right?
@@lemongavine I think they realized Dave was some sort of big deal after they gave him the pie. Then they asked for a selfie. But I could be wrong. Who knows.
No one wants to hang out in Watertown..
@@weewillywanka5904 you’re probably right
@@weewillywanka5904 you're right. Dave dee is reaching
"He was head to toe in flour, it's only 12:30. By the time 4:00 rolls around he may just be flour, he may accidentally get tossed in the pizza oven."
Is for sure the funniest thing I've ever heard Dave say
then proceeds to call flour "dough" for the rest of the review.
Wasn't even the least bit funny
Funny cuz he's Jewish
Pretty Frigen funny lol
@@mpdeane9 I laughed out loud
That’s a serious looking pizza, looked like a strong mid/high 8s. Didn’t expect a 7.8
Yeah right zero flop just the right amount of cheese and good crunch go figure
He must not have liked the sauce. He went to the Heavy-Light excuse but it looked like everything he wants in a pie
Maybe bad sauce, or non optimal cheese distribution
In Boston when a guy comes over and says "heyiyi hai dunno, somethymes I puttona showw" it's a straight CokeDen McMobfront. That tends to distract from the other flavors.
Just wondering if you still didn’t expect a 7.8?
when you’ve been watching long enough that you can predict within a decimal of the Pres’s score, you need a life…everybody knows the rules.
Dude... I just made the same comment.
But Dave & his Barstool Fund keep me coming back. A guy can't get any more real than Portnoy.
yea I am quite sad. I'd say 50 percent of the time I nail it right on the head, and the other 50 i'm within .2 My GF can't believe it. I'm like, let me score this pizza without even tasting it. LOL
you and me both man. i'm like 50/50 with predicting
Shit, I had him at a 7.7 for this one. This comment is too accurate, everybody knows the rules
I guessed 7.6-7.8 based off of his reaction.
Dave brushes his hair with a toffee apple, everyone knows the rules.
lol. 9.9 comment
🤣
9.8
I spent every summer in Watertown growing up in the 80s and 90s and we went to Stella’s all the time. It’s the best thin crust pizza. I miss it so much. 😂
That was one of the best looking pizzas I’ve ever seen
"It's heavy and light at the same time" everybody knows that Dave just turned this pizza into a quantum matter!
Dave, your videos helped me through depression and panic attacks. Thank you, I love what you do. Keep making the world a happier place. Regards from Argentina. Come try our pizzas sometime.
One bite everyone knows Dave is also covered in flour before 12:30
"flour"
Its weird how happy these reviews make me
YOU'RE A GOOD KID
This is my joes of bleeker - Stellas is a 9.4 no questions asked. Great to see Mike the owner in the background at the end
The whole “I’m having a hard time figuring out a score.” Bullshit. Pizza was so damn good you went back for another slice. 8+ for sure
Yeah right 8.3 to me easy
"He had no idea who I was, which I respect".
At a boy Dave.
That pizza looked amazing and the people seemed even better! Good on em
Great place, the only pizza place where I only order plain cheese pizza, just a perfect balance of light and fullness. Dave was spot on
Dave you would’ve crushed that entire thing. Give it an 8
My dog’s name is Stella, everybody knows I’m glad this place got a solid review.
Dave has a good soul. Trying to give a fair score. (while shoving the pizza down to... you get the point.)
The crazy thing is I use to work right down the street and go to Stellas. Wild to see Portnoy right here. I know exactly what he means with the pizza being thin but heavy. Its magic, I swear. Very cool video!
Daves humor jells with me so much, so funny
6 notifications for a video that came out 3 days ago. Watched twice now, watched the adds, liked the video. Broooo wtf?! This is getting to the point of just checking in at 6pm everyday maybe
Used to go here sometimes when I lived in the area. I like that it's real handmade Italian pizza and not that Greek stuff. They also make really good veal parmesan subs for a reasonable price.
Omg I'm obsessed with Dave cracks me up.
One bite, everybody knows this pizza should be rated higher than the floppy slice from Frankie’s. Get your rating in order! He didn’t steal all your blow Dave… that is actually flour.
Pointing at flour and say DOUGH is peak Portnoy
One Stella pizza everybody knows Dave never seen A streetcar named desire.
One bite everyone knows that flour is now referred to as dough.
One pizza maker covered in white powder, everyone knows Dave can relate
Looks like the type of pizza you just can't stop eating
LMAO at the way that guy demanded a "selfie"
look at dave loving big sausage pizza
Dave has just been cranking out pizza reviews this year it feels like its way more than he used to do
Always been one a day he post every week for past 7 years
@@jaybeazy4978 damn i watch the majority of them but i guess i just didnt realize haha
Warning, Dave's review is of the old Stella's, which used to rival Regina's (Boston) and Patsy's (NYC), but not any longer. The former owner, the guy on the steps, sold the place in the fall of 2023 and the pizza has gone downhill since. New owners went cheap on ingredients - I had one slice of a pie and got sick within 15 minutes / threw out the rest of it - and are jokers / they actively delete negative Google reviews after, quite hilariously, first responding to them saying "thank you, we'll do better, and blah, blah, blah". So, essentially, they bought a local semi-institution and changed the very thing that made it so successful. Brilliant. If you're thinking of ordering from there, don't waste your time. The closest best thing I know of is either Frank Pepe's or Bertucci's.
1:30 I can’t haha
I always go to stellas on friday for their pizza. Easily in the 8's dunno why Dave gave it a 7.8 when he was going in for a second slice by the time he gave it a score.
Yep. Went there a few days ago…spectacular. I reviewed it and gave it an easy 8.3! Might have lowballed a few decimal points because afterwards when I got home the 🍕 was still amazing and tasted great even cold.
One bite...Stella knew the rules. She was the king of the toys. 🐕🦺 R.I.P.
When I saw the title I thought it was going to be Stella’s in Brockton. Locally famous. STELLA’S Downtown east side
COME TO PITTSFIELD,MA
Next time your in Watertown you gotta try Pizza Roma in the west end. Stella’s is still great! Been going to both places 20+ years
Caprissi's in garland bro it's a must have. Unfortunately it is some times hit or miss but when u catch the pizza master when he's working it's the best thing u would ever eat. We still order it all the time cause it's always good but when u hit that master shift it blows ur mind. U end up eating 3x the times the pizza u would have.
Throw a polarizer filter on your lens. It'll help!
As a child Dave's dad was out and he heard his mom scream. He rushed to her room, it took a while for her to open the door, and then all he saw was an open bedroom window and flour everywhere.
And that's why this pizza could never get an 8
One bite, knew Dave’s score before Dave knew his score, everybody knows the rules!
Well goody for you should have been an 81-82
“Same as it ever was…same as it ever was.. same as it ever was…
“
One pizza maker covered in dough, everybody knows they meant flour
The flour is used to find the wet spot.
Sorry but your nuts. 7.8?? I grew up in Watertown and got pizza here since I was 12 when the Aunt and Uncle and Grandma owned it. As an International airline pilot I have had pizza all over the world and prefer Stella’s over all else.
Aw man. I miss that place.
"He has no idea who I was, which I respect."
Spot on.. I got 7.8... Great job Dave. We appreciate you.
Every place in Massachusetts gets at least one whole point added to the score.
VERY rare he eats the entire slice
Davey, 1961 is 60 SIXTY years ago....
RESPECT
1:30 the funniest shit of my life
Name of the place gave poor Dave instant PTSD, everybody knows his King of the Toys.
Prez built like a step father who got injured playing football in high school
The Roots tour of 22 continues
You should do Sal’s Cafe in Somers Point NJ. It’s pretty good coal fired pizza especially for New Jersey’s.
anytime you go for 2nd slice should be automatic 8 or above .. if its good enough that you keep eating it must be good...
STELLAHHHHA Boston on the high score train, Everybody knows the rules!
Do pizza Roma in Watertown next!
Wisconsin in the House !!! BRAHaHaHaH That Cheapest 2 $ pie in the frozen food isle ! Watertown , Roma !!! 😥😥😥
Dave- come to Michigan. I need to know the best place to get pizza here. I think the pizza here sucks. Change my mind. Show me the way 🙏 please I need your wisdom
You should try Spinelli's pizza in brodheadsville PA. It is very good.
I’m surprised at the score, pizza had a good under carriage, no flop, you can hear the crunch, and you ate almost 2 slices lol I thought it would of been an 8plus.
I’m guessing the flavor wasn’t up to par comparatively
I grew up going to Stella's.It was one of the best pizza's around.
GOTTA DO ESPRESSO'S IN LOWELL/LEOMINSTER MA
By 4 pm daves going back their hoping for flour
Review #865 in a row with absolutely no mention of the taste of the pizza, literally only mentions texture ever
you gonna stop in rhode island or is it just a Massachusetts tour
Has he ever tried Cici’s or Pizza inn? Both buffets where you can pig out
Niko's of New York in Framingham is a must!!!!
Great lookin pie
Pizza was decent for the area when I lived there . I lived not to far from there in 2007 7.5 . At the time, was best pizza in watertown in my opinion. I am more of a santarpios or reginas guy.
Do a pizza reviews in Hyannis and Yarmouth 8-18 of July
Everybody knows Doughman went from not knowing the Prez to becoming a fanboy at the end in no time! Something fishy here haha
“ “flour on the hands “ “ davey says
My pops hometown. He’s 80 O’Neil.
A 2 slice pie and Dave is struggling. LOL
I had it yesterday 8.3 Legit Mike the Taller guy cool as shit Let’s Go Brandon 🍕😂
Somehow I called 7.8 before he said it based on his comments and how much of it he ate. I'm getting better at this.
Stella’s was my go to. Neighborhood pie
Im sorry , that pie looked like a 6.8 Chucky Cheeze Special ! 😘
Dave, joanies’s pizza. Chelmsford MA. New spot, ny style. Im telling ya, its amazing right out the oven..
I feel like the pizza in the intro would get such a low score 😂
Dave, have you ever tried the brown jug pizza in Chelsea? If not that's a great place
Dave should do one of these with Jeff Portnoy.
TELL ME THE BRAND OF THAT SHIRT. LOOKS SO COMFY
I guessed this one right. 7.8 😂 YES!
If you ever make your way up to the Midwest you should really try spicy pie in Fargo North Dakota. I am sure you could do at least 8 good pizza places within 3 blocks of there as well👍 check it out and you know the rules?? One bite! Gotta do it
I lived right down the street from this place. Never ate there.
Try Rino’s pizza. Right up your alley.
Ngl the pie looked good but I'm starting to notice a little bit of score inflation... not saying this wasn't deserving of a 7.8 but I've been seeing a lot more 7s and 8s recently... I kinda miss when average to good pizzas were 6s and low 7s

Yesss! My home town baby! Stella’s rules!
