If anyone’s wondering where the subtitles are, RUclips can’t comprehend a mixture of speech and wind noise, so I am manually typing every one out! They will be up in a couple hours. Hope you enjoy this week’s episode 👍🏼
Come on 26 mins of you getting across the water we don't need any more than 5 mins we came here for the locations not the journey that takes up half your video :(
Well done lads. I sailed past Inchgarvie hundreds of times going to and fro to Hound Point Marine Terminal. The channel the lads navigated can be treacherous. Very brave .
Urbandoned with Hell on Earth, you know you're in for a treat! What a mission! Such a mad location, deffo worth the effort to get there. Great work guys!
I've been watching your adventures over the last month or so. Great channel and I love the way you document these great abandoned buildings and places while giving us the viewer a little bit of history and insight into the subject matter. Thanks for sharing, this one is one of your best adventures. Well done!
lol! at 33:05 it's pronounced "ross-sythe" dockyard (Rosyth Dockyard), my home town 🥰 absolutely brilliant video guys! I have always wanted to visit Inchgarvie after having visited Inchcolm island back when I was in high school and passing by these historic islands on an almost daily basis for nearly 32 years.
Enjoyed this one! we live in Fife, and hubby is a Veteran and anything Military he loves, we see these islands all the time and it was great to see them close up! I bet the outtakes and “bloopers” were hilarious! The Forth is notorious for its changing conditions from weather to flow. Look forward to the next venture locally. By the way do you guys know about the Cromarty firth where the submarine nets were secured there is access from Nigg on the north side, I’ve not tried the south side but there were gun emplacements and more on the North side of the Cromarty, when I was able to get there a number of years ago, it would be good to see and you seem to be able to unearth the history too, could make another good video coverering both the north and south areas where the military were stationed to protect the entry to the Cromarty Firth, hopefully that’s enough info to find the location 😊 happy exploring
I Thank You all for taking me to Inch Garvie! I lived in Scotland for 5 yrs. with my Scot. Every time I went over both the bridges and to Queensferry I would Look at this. My Hubby told me the story of it . I always want to go to it .! and you all have done this for me . Cheers ! (my hubby will want to watch , later)
WOW Just WOW! I have said it many times lads, but you have blown it out of the park with this one, which has to be your best yet. I have never been so captivated watching one of your RUclips videos as I was with this one. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time, at first for your safety and then for the wonderful images of Inchgarvie and its contents. Being a Scot who has seen this from afar many times, I never thought I would get to see it close up, and I have to say a massive thank all three of you and the help from your buddies at Hell On Earth. I also loved the fact that we got to see of the three of you a lot more in front of the camera. Thanks
What an awesome place! The bunker with the cross on top was a searchlight bunker, to illuminate any enemy vessels so the guns could blow them out of the water. It would be a great place for a weekend camping expedition.
Hi guys another excellent video. I really enjoyed it so much. The island was so amazing and awesome you showed us right next to the magnificent forth railway bridge. Thank you so much for making this video.
We spend a lot of time in Scotland due to family being from there and when we travel north of our normal location in the Borders I always wondered what the buildings were - now I know.
In 1970, we went to Inchgarvie in my uncle's speed boat. I have been to Hound Point on an oil tanker and been up on top of the the north tower of the Forth Bridge. You mention 12 pdr guns. 12lb shells were used in the guns, pdr = pounder. Inch means island. Calling this island Inchgarvie island is wrong. Beside the Forth Bridge central tower is Thomas Bouch's aborted bridge pier, now a navigation aid.
I love all the videos you guys make you can see the amount of effort and thought that goes into making them and yous can see that you all enjoy the exploring and experience doing it. Glad my partner told me about this channel cos I've been watching these videos non stop. I'm Scottish and live not far from the forth road bridge, I was so gullible as a young child and my dad heavily convinced me that the forth road bridge was in fact a rollercoaster 🤣
BTW...that would have made an excellent one for an overnight trip...if you could have secured the rafts better. All in all a great adventure. I love it when crews collaborate on shit..🍺🍺🍺
My maternal Grandfather served on Inchkeith and Inchgarvie during the early part of the Second World War. Quite often look down on Inchgarvie when taking the train.
So over half way through the video before you even get go the island and first man off onto very slippery seaweed strewn rocks - and he's wearing slip on crocs - ! Unbelievable - ! 😮
years back dad took us kids out on that stretch of the Forth in a small motor boat. Very choppy and then bang we hit something below the surface.Shit us up so we turned around,so lucky,no hole, dad couldnt swim and we were little kids
Very dangerous waters, the current in certain areas is deadly & absolutely impossible to overcome at times, similar to San Francisco Bay, brave or naive you made it none the less.
6.24 Er… No! 😂 It’s definitely not the same. Hell on earth is a proper Rib tender with a hard floor and a transom (Where you attach an engine) A raised bow. Yours is a blow up rowing dingy. They are two very different things. EDIT: I’m not trying to be a dic by the way, Good on you for making do and all.
My family from Edinburgh and many times I was told stories of Messerschmitt from Germany sent to destroy the bridges and the gun turrets open firing on them. They tried to destroy the fourth road bridge many times all the fourth rail bridge. I don’t know which one was the main one but I know that the Germans constantly came up the firth of forth to try and get the bridge and the gun turrets would shoot them down or at least attempt.
The Germans would have a hard job destroying the Forth Road Bride considering it was opened in the 60s…😂 The story is the Germans thought they’d destroyed the Forth Rail Bridge because from the air Inch Mickery looks like smoke.
@@JBFlytography simple Google reveals On the afternoon of 16 October 1939, around twelve German bombers arrived over the River Forth on the east coast of Scotland, dropping bombs over the famous rail bridge and almost hitting a train which was crossing the bridge at the time. Point about road bridge fine. None the less battle took place - bridge was there
@@southpolesurfer6936I never said it didn’t happen, I simply added a bit on to your story. The Germans tried to destroy the rail bridge and nearby Rosyth navy base. The gun placements are still there along the Forth and on many of the islands. You’re telling me something I already know, I live in North Queensferry. Go have a Google where that is😉
@@JBFlytography I think you made your point to North Queensferry years, because I used to live in South Queensferry. But I’m not here to argue with an Internet stranger so have a great day. And I mean that in all the kindest way.

Oh my hell on earth too.
Great video and look at our beautiful views.
A bit windy but no rain .
Keep up the good work
Great video, really enjoyed it. 2 of my favourite exploring crews in 1 video
Really enjoyed this👍🏻 I only live an hour away from there and have always wondered what it’s like. Thanks for sharing🏴
Great video lads. Loved the scenes under the Forth Bridge. Brings back vivid memories of a ferry trip to Inchcolm Abbey.
You guys have nailed it yet again;
Just when you thought it couldn’t get any better. You’ve teamed up with Hell On Earth!
Some video fellas, looks a proper adventure that.
@38:35> you could start a guano factory there!!!!!
Well done guys over queensferry. Crossing everyweek and wondered for years what was down there 🏴🏴🇬🇧🇬🇧

I've crossed that bridge more times than I can remember and often wondered what all those buildings were on that island, now I know! nice one guys
Wonderful video guys, really enjoyed it; a very special place indeed.
Wow, rivers can certainly put you in the s**t.

Well done guys fantastic 👏 very brave in those small boats keep safe guys 👦
Kudos to that little 2hp outboard for making that trip. I've taken a 20hp outboard on 3.5m dinghy up there and it struggled with two of us 😂
Fantastic explore lads. Really well done.
One of the best videos. Take care guys be safe ❤️
Well done lads. Inspiring stuff
Great video you lot are brave going out over that water in those tiny boats 🙂
The Forth Bridge is a georgeous construction of engineering when seen close up from water level.
That bridge amazing spectacle
It would be fascinating to see old drawings and pictures of the original layout.
Great stuff. Well done fellas 👍
Thank you!
Wow this is a fantastic video! Good job guys!! 👍🏼
I hope you brought seven days worth of food! LOL. You are super brave to go anywheres with hell on Earth! 😂 Thanks for the great video! 👍👍

Much appreciated - we have some great ones coming!
There is lots of these islands down the firth of the forth mostly used for similar reasons, prisons or military mostly, lately during World war2.
There is indeed - we plan to return!

Cool video, Deffo buy an nautical almanac and or a bigger engine so that you can get there so you don't get caught out by the rate of tide.
I usually commute over the forth bridge and i'd always wondered what that island was :)
Rub-a-Dub-Dub 6 boys in a Tub, if the boat had been stronger this story would be longer.
You should try crammond island it's fortified and has a causeway to walk over at low tide

Lads, great adventure, but you need a safer boat! That trip over the water made me sweat.
Guys, is it still possible to see the foundations of Sir Thomas Bouch's original Forth Bridge!!!!!
It’s hard to believe there wasn’t a berthing site of some description!
Strutted
Inchgarvie used to be nightmare for rats they actual had to do a controlled burn to get rid of them for a fireworks display.
Steve Marsh (RUclips channel) rowed there with his missus in a kayak. Though you’ve gotta choose your day.
