      What do you mean by "now". There was salty caramel during WWI already.

      @@bucsredsoxredwings well I wasn't around during WW1 and I doubt you were either, but you may well have a PhD in the history of caramel.
      All I do know is in my lifetime of 67 years caramel hasn't been salty until about 1-2 years ago.
      Then when buying a bar of caramel chocolate it was salted, couldn't buy any without.
      Have noticed a shift back to normal lately presumably because good taste prevailed.
      Any Cadbury's marketers reading, give the consumers choice, that's all I ask
