Everygrey is a band who inspired me and helped me grow since I was around 17 years old. Today am 41 and I am still loving this band with all my heart. For me there is no greater or better in this type of genre than Evergrey.

I agree! They have to very different styles of playing. Tom has that soulful, emotional bluesy feeling to his solos and Henrick brings the heavy AF riffage and wild solo's. They complement each other so well for the music they play. The band is truly unique.

Tom is far too humble about his guitar ability, he's an excellent lead player with a beautiful smooth lead guitar tone I'm sure Henrik would testify to that himself!

Indeed! every EG song has amazing solos! I love how in "Blindfolded" we got 2 guitar & a keyboard solo as well. & in "Weightless" we got a drum solo for the 1 & only time ever in a song as well!😛 As a former drummer, that was a treat for me!😛☺😊😋

Every album from "The Storm Within" forward has been nothing short of stellar! & the last few, masterpieces! This is why EG & Sabaton are tied for my fave band ever! Just great fucking albums!

@@AndDeathForAll82 I'd have to disagree w/this. I absolutely don't like 'Hymns' at all! I don't get what they were trying to do on that album, & never will! I just don't like it at all on any level except for "King Of Errors"-the album's only good song! That CD collects dust, as I never listen to it! I should sell it on ebay actually, & get some of my $ I wasted on it back!😒 Even "Monday Morning Apocalypse" is 1,000 Xs better than 'Hymns' is! & I actually like that album, but, not as much as their rest. "Torn" has always been & always will be my most fave album by them, & while everything from 'Storm'-'Heartless' are flawless, nothing has made me like an album an more than "TORN" has! It's sad that they never play anything off of it anymore! & only played "Broken Wings" off it the 1 & only time I've gotten to see them live in 2011.😒🙁

I love Evergrey, one of my favorite bands.
They give me everything I can want...memorable & catchy sing along songs, soulful singing, a excellent rhythm section, kill riffs, awesome solos.

Ullaeus is a visionary video director! His vids are like little movies. If he actually directed a movie, it would be outstanding, & would no doubt win many awards, as his music vids do, & live concert films as well.

Almost 10 years since Hymns for the Broken changed my fucking life forever. The albums of this band shall accompany me to the grave. I have this band on my skin already. This one is probably my favorite from AHP, very dark, brooding and overall magnificient in scope. I hope the new album will be just as remarkable as the last 5 albums have been to me.
