Yeah I drove into the bus depot where i work in everett and we've got bus drivers and supervisors just now leaving work from last night.

The SEVEN hours of hardly moving traffic here in N. Everett just now at 12:15 am finally cleared! Felt bad for all those stuck here.

Driving through Everett bumper to bumper, light to light. All the trucks, and normal freeway size traffic buzzing down residential streets and back alleys trying to find an "alternative route." Total mayhem. And it was also traffic coming from other joining highways adding to this circus. Everett should be furious.

On a side note, governor Insleefuhrer and Attorney General Bobby Pinhead has demanded this Trooper be arrested and put on trial for this incident. They believe this Trooper is a threat to the community and if the Trooper had just run away, this never would have happened.

The video from Snapchat shows the officer shoot the unarmed suspect after the suspect lunged at the officer.
So the guy has a hammer. And cop shot him dead. Don’t they have like pepper spray and taser gun?! It’s like common everyone who’s driving in the traffic are stressed out but seems like he lost it or mental
first, guy assaulted a construction worker, then tried to hijack a car, usual tactics are police ask them to drop the weapon, which it was, suspect didn't comply, and there you go. Cops were just doing their jobs.

@@user-ds4fe9zo9w I'm guessing they were in close proximity. When you're within a certain distance, I think around 10 feet - and the perpetrator has a deadly weapon (hammers can kill someone in one hit) - officers are encouraged to use lethal force. Because the assailant can close that distance in a matter of seconds, and if you are only holding pepper spray he can kill you before you can get your sidearm out.
@@semicountryliving3095from the snap chat video going around, it shows the unarmed suspect push the cop, the cop pushes the suspect back, the suspect runs a few feet away and turns back around facing the officer, the suspect then lunges at the officer and then the officer takes 3 shots in the suspects chest and then the suspect drops dead.
@@AnthonyGonzalez-zy5zm lunging at an officer…bad idea, especially when he was most likely shouting orders to the criminal and criminal obviously did not comply.
A hammer is not a deadly weapon, its a construction tool!
it is interesting that hammers were used by humans in wars for millennia. blunt heavy weapons (sticks, sticks with rocks) were one of the first weapons we used to kill each other.
