It's a beautiful day at the facility. Nothing There just ate my best friend, White Night is trying to count to twelve again, One Sin is brooding in the corner, someone just drank the open can of Wellcheers, and there's a persistent thwack noise from hallway 7 as Punishing Bird does Punishing Bird things.
Forgot what happened in the place where the actual lore of Punishing Bird, but what I can imagine is that this thing is an allegory for sensational justice. Naive, and a squeaky wheel, but lord help you if you give them any real fuel to fight you.
They were part of a trio of birds the others are big bird and the judgement bird. A prophet told them that a great monster would threaten the forest they lived in, so the birds sacrificed a part of themselves to try and prevent the monster from ruining their home. This bird had sacrificed their body to create a massive mouth to devour any evil with only one bite. That's the red spot on their otherwise perfectly white feathers.
Furthermore, punishing bird is going with the idea that, people to bad thing because they can and no one can punish them, so he decided to be the punisher of the trio
That's some form of bug no doubt. He took 623 red damage with his 51+1 HP. Only reason I can come up with is that attack reduced him to zero but at the same exact frame he was healed so the game didn't have the time to even register his death.
One minute ago, most of my employees died and fell into panic and I was not very happy since I almost reached the max amount of PE boxes needed, but then I see punishing bird chasing someone in panic, and did not even stop to peck someone else so I felt much better then. It looked funny... for me atleast.
Thank God you get it when you don't have anything to hit it with, since it moves faster than melee at the start of the game (like with panicking employees that start jogging).
i just imagine one agent casually going tinto punishing bird's containment to pet them seriously i need a plush of this little goober or i'm gonna breakreality

Dont hit punishing bird back, its Physical damage is meager in comparison to when it restores sanity to panicking employee instead of damaging them. Or else you will face an "Execution bird" that with its attack does 800 red damage (in most cases instantkill) to the attacker, chase them down until dead and if they are dead return back. So ye if employee is panicking the Punishing bird restores some of their sanity instead of hurting them, which means he gives certain benefits to employees who went cuckoo, especially clerks
Honestly if I were to play this game (but I won't because I want to have some sanity) I would pick this first chance I get so I could just listen to warning 1
I believe Rose survived thanks to Chesed’s core suppression reward, which is a 25% chance to heal to 50% HP or SP when they drop to 0 once per day. Very silly that it happened here though
I am sorry for my slowness, but could this bird be actually benefical? It doesn't seem to deal much damage to Agents and in case of panic it will beat some sense in them?
Na, honestly happy with how it came out and no desire to go through the nightmare it was to get them how I wanted lol I got 302 hours in lobotomy from it all XD
