Vintage Watch Review - 1955 Hamilton Pelham

In this vintage watch review, I dive into a Hamilton Pelham. This model was a One Year Wonder from Hamilton and was only made in 1955. The watch is powered by an American made Hamilton caliber 753 with 17 jewels. I serviced and restored this watch in September 2020.

Very nice! I was able to find a Square B from 1929 that has zero loss of the finish at the corners and beautifully engraved.

hi may I ask you what is the black looking marks in side the wall of the second dile you can look at2:53 can yo tell me did u leave it there or its hard to comes out thank you for lovly video

Good question. The dark marks you see on the sub dial wall is where some of the finish has rubbed off, so there isn't anything that I can remove. In fact, if I had tried to clean the mark off, I likely would have rubbed even more of the finish off, making it worse.

Thank you! I have, and sometimes still do, service watches other than Hamilton. I have a hard time articulating it, but I'm just really drawn to Hamilton watches, more than other brands. They're fairly plentiful, there is a lot of source material available for research, the vintage pieces are American made, and I just really dig the styling. Plus, focusing on one brand means that I have an extensive back stock of parts I can pull from.
