    Think about this...in 2011, the mustang finally came out with the 5L again. That mustang did a 0-60 in 4.6seconds...this Infinty from 2009, also weighing 1200lbs more, does it in 5 seconds flat. (Both numbers from Car and Driver). That's ridiculous. As for 1/4 mile times...the Stang is at 13.2, the FX50 is at 13.6. Same displacement and cylinders, 1200lbs heavier, and only 0.4sec slower in the 1/4

    It's such a shame that Infiniti has lost its way. From early 2000s to mid 2010s, Infiniti was the Japanese luxury car brand to own hands down. Now they put the pathetic CVTs in there vehicles, every car/suv that was sold with the legendary VQ 3.5L V6 is now a 4 banger turbo. For anyone that owns a G35/37...FX35/37/50...hold on to them, they're just shooting up in value, and still look and perform fantastic to this day

    If you haven’t driven that amazing machine in 6 months I’d say you didn’t deserve it. Talking about a 10 year old car that was so ahead of its time for the while video like it’s ancient is a little obnoxious as well just sayin.

      This car has nothing to do with the Rogue lol. My parents own a Rogue, and I own a 2011 FX35...not 1 thing is even similar lol, other than the fact that Nissan makes both. But on that point, Rogues are made in several countries, some in Japan, some in the US, Canada...and some in MEXICO....but all Infiniti FXs where built in Japan. Shame Infiniti now makes QXs in Mexico, and with CVTs

      @@alexnutcasio936 You're right! Mostly due to this FX50 having that unique V8 engine and the reliability (build quality) factor. These things are nearly bullet proof. Plus, getting a V8 crossover like this you're going to have to spend a lot if you go new - if you go older there are not many choices that are still in good shape and won't' run up a high repair bill ie: BMW, Porsche.

    The v8 is not really faster then the v6.the skyline crossover is the same as infinity v6 i raced the v8 it was the same.

    • @crod6431
      @crod6431 3 года назад +3

      The same in terms of what? I drove the 3.7L V6 and it's not as quick as the 5.0L V8. The V6 is around 6.5 sec in 0-60. The V8 is low 5 sec. The 3.7L V6 is very quick in the G37 because it's a much lighter vehicle but not in the FX. The FX37 will be constantly revving at high RPMs to match the torque of the FX50.
