A very eye opening process. Hopefully there is no collateral damage at all. Infusing blood flow by first restricting it in a controlled way is arguably really invigorating, refreshing and in the end inducing or promoting healing. It's got to be energising as well. Arterial blood carries fresh oxygenated platelets to increase and hasten the healing process. So, it makes great sense and the results substantiate and prove that it is effective. Thanks for the great video and more power, literally to those that use it properly. Cheers!

My mom is a physical therapist and she said that BFR training isn’t good at all and that it’s not safe. She says that BFR training limits the blood flow into your muscles and that your muscles NEED the blood flow for energy. She said if the muscles don’t get enough oxygen, they’ll spasm. Is this true?

I can understand how a person in the health field could make a presumptive opinion like this, but with BFR this does not happen. A muscle under exercise that has a decreased O2 and blood supply simply fatigues faster, then fatigues deeper, this is the magic of B3 Bands. There are over 300 studies that document this effect.
If it was not good, then all the Doctors our network of 400 B3 Consultants would not be using them and prescribing them

Hi doc. I have been doing some combination training with regular strength training and using BFR training. Can you tell me where to find information on workouts and cuff settings? I don't believe seniors are walking around with cuffs pumped up over 200mmhg. Lastly, can the cheap elastic bands offer any benefits?

Cheap bands work well. 1 1/2 for arms 3 inch for legs. Get the 3 inch with Velcro. both on Amazon. You should feel the burn about 20-25th rep on your first set. Do 30reps then 3x15 with 30 second rest between reps. Don't leave them on for more than 20 at a time. I'm 67 and a small slender guy and train upper 3 times a week. Lower 2 times a week. My routine takes less than 20 min. Been doing it for 2 months. Gained 2 inches in my arms and 2 in my thighs. Make sure you eat right. Plenty of red meat protien to help your hormones and sup with whey and creatine. Three nutrients are important. Selenium (2 Brazilian nuts a day, 150mcg of zinc with copper, 2000 mg krill oil. 1000 mg Liposomal C, D3 and to bump your calories use heavy whipping cream with whey. Good luck.
