We have a lot of work to get done. So much work, we don’t have the luxury to play the “blame game”. We are direly needed in our homes, our women’s lives, our children’s lives and in our communities. We’ve been absent far too long and have allowed too many undesirable ideas to fester and grow. Our women, our children, even our mothers need us. Our nephews need us, our nieces need us. We need to unite and in order to do that we, the black men, need to wake up.

OK this whole conversation has been conflated in the wrong direction. As adults, we all have something to do with the way things are right now. I’m not religious personally, but I was raised with those values and I do believe that men should run the household, and they also share the bulk of the responsibility Because of that.
The trouble is when we start applying nuance to the conversation. While in a biblical sense, yes the men are responsible because we live in modern times and women have fought for the right to specifically not be under the control of men to make their own decisions they have elevated themselves to a point of equivalence with men.
Since women are equal to men in modern times, then the responsibility has shifted from the old days . Black women in particular love to claim that they are doing better financially than black men. Traditionally finances were the foundation of most relationships. And whoever had the most and steady finances ran the relationship.
If it is the case that women today , black women are particular are more financially stable than most black men should not be the case that yes black women actually do hold just as much responsibility for the failure of black homes that black men do?
I and I’m not posing this question to say that men don’t hold responsibility because we do . if black men had a better plan to start off with we wouldn’t be in this predicament. I know we all love MLK, but he realized a little too late that he pushed the wrong thing when he was doing his movement. And they killed Malcolm X because they knew he was on the right track.
We definitely need to hold each other accountable . If I as a black man decide to allow my seed to enter someone and then don’t take care of the resulting child I am contributing to the negative state of the black community just the same as a woman with no prior vetting allows, a man to implant his seed, but then he goes to jail or get shot because of his lifestyle then she too shares responsibility for contributing to the negativity in the black community.
    We both do share responsibility.
I do think it is fair to point out that due to the financial pendulum shifting that part of the responsibility has shifted as well . Most black men these days have been raised by single mothers.
Demographically black children aren’t really doing so well, and the majority of them are being raised by single mothers . Again, the father does have responsibility in the sense that he didn’t take responsibility for his family, therefore the single mother. However, there has to be something said about the parental ability of single mothers at least for black men. it doesn’t seem that black women are properly equipped to prepare a man to be a man and to make decisions not based in emotion.
At the end of the day, this is a very nuanced conversation .
To sum up what I said , I think the bulk of the blame begins with men. we as black men chose the wrong strategy when engaging with the enemy and we lost. we lost so hard that the media portray us as dangerous criminals monstrous or they try to feminize us in any way they can. Not only that we lost so hard that our schools are trash. Our neighborhoods are garbage and we don’t own a control anything in this country at all. So yes, black men hold some responsibility, especially for how things started and where things are.
Black women have the bulk of the responsibility for the things happening today. Again, the power shifted and by power I mean money. There is something to be said for the fact that single fathers have generally better outcomes in their children than single mothers. I’m not saying single mothers are bad parents. I’m just saying that’s statistically speaking there seems to be a disconnect when raising black men. Our black women are thriving. Our black men are suffering.
If that’s the case who needs to help who up ?

The man is 100% responsible for his family and his responsibilities. To set an example on your morals values and work ethic and discipline. To strive for excellence. That is the only way you can change the environment. Other that its impossible to save everyone. It was just Noahs family who made it past the Flood! Its was only Lots Family who made it out of Sada and Gamora! Most of us will die and go to hell! So you can only control yourself.

This sister is a complete narcissist. To word salad, to little to empathy to male fathers, I mean wow!! The brother who hosted this show is doing a disservice to any young brother that watch this show. MTR did an excellent breakdown on this show and was articulate on every scenario. I congratulate the brother, who’s daughter are now in college! I agree 100% with him. Also, I really think the lady needs to see this show privately and have private moment with Jesus.

You both have a point. I’m not Christian however God gave us free will. It’s not my duty to constantly correct another BM. This problem will not be solved within our life time. So why should I waste my time with the majority??? Bc they’re black 😂. Bruh that’s a piss poor excuse.
In regards to the media discussion. This is my second time viewing another video from your channel. If the BM’s image is important then why tarnish it by interrupting the other BM on the show? IMO it shows a lack of respect.

Lastly, the majority of bm are not having intercourse. The majority of bm dont have kids. Again, this show has no right to demonize bm as a whole.

@@vicbadd there are way more bw having intercourse than bm. Most bm don't have kids. Many men in general are taking care of kids that aren't biologically theirs. Notice the sisterhood never talks about that.
