  • This is what you should know about former Lynn Haven Mayor Margo Anderson after prosecutors dropped all 64 charges.
The evidence showed she didn’t commit any of those crimes.
The RV bribe story? A lie. Prosecutors learned that her husband did indeed pay for it. So the feds have to return it.
She won’t be cooperating with the prosecutors against developer James Finch. His trial is scheduled to begin Feb. 27.
Prosecutors dropped more charges against him yesterday.
So now he’s only facing two counts: (1) Writing a $5,000 check as a business loan to former Commissioner Antonius Barnes, and (2) Conspiracy to bribe Barnes.
Think about that. Even if it were true, those are state ethics charges.
How many millions of dollars and how much time has the federal government and Sheriff Tommy Ford wasted persecuting Anderson and Finch?
Meanwhile, the real public corruption criminals took the money and ran. Right under their noses.
