I grew up in Dumfries Street, lived there from '72 until '97, this video brought back a lot of memories, walking to school (Alfs) and much of your walk followed my old paper round, from Joe Wardman's newsagents on the corner of Ramsden Street and Penrith Street. Like so many of the corner shops, now converted to a house. The "big house" you mention on the corner of Dumfries Street and Marsh Street used to be a barbers and hairdressers - Dave Reid was the barber, and it's where I had my hair cut for many years until he retired. Great video!
👍 Opposite the gatehouse ( 9:46 ) on the little building,I've noticed the silhouette of the front of an old steam loco (with some graffiti) , a nod to the sidings once there 👌 Thank you for another interesting video 🌟

@6:21....there is a car on top of a pile. Curiously ;) why?
Its a small scrap yard, The car is on top off a shipping crate. It was used for banger racing.
