I may eat my words by 3 pm tomorrow, but I'm taking Willis over Clifford for several reasons. It wasn't so long ago that Willis was a top QB prospect in the draft, while Clifford was thought to be a high-priority UDFA. Willis, while not a ton, has more NFL experience. The Colts are an uncommon opponent for the Packers, but Willis has tons of time game-planning against them. The playbook will be watered-down, but I think he's surrounded by a ton of talent. That said, if it's a disaster for him, that won't shock anyone either. 😅
Sean Clifford doesn't have NFL talent to execute the offense. Knowing the system well and executing the system well is two different things. Weak arm or inaccuracy is the main reason to fail, even QB know the scheme well. Clifford couldn't even play well against vanilla defense in pre-season. Matt Lafleur doesn't have to start Malik Willis because Guti traded for him. Guti isn't ML boss.
