I first went to Samal in 1998 and it was all dirt roads. We bought land and due to the roads being built and the infrastructure improving land prices are now about 7 to 8 times higher. 4 years to build that bridge seems a long time. I worked on the Cebu Cordova bridge and it took 3.5 years and is over twice as long.
Wow prices rising in samal. Dirt road that a long time ago....yes the notice says completion 2028 there is a lot going on. Supply's needs to be ordered the money needs to be release from where ever.... I saw signs that coastal road would be completed 2022.
I was there a few days ago I think maybe the center section will be a lift bridge? Anyway they do not want to grade roads The island side is very steep, with more fill it could be graded nicely..
Hi mek thank you comment. I think I have been this place for binding with Annie's work nares. Will check it out again...I do enjoy the relaxed life style samal ..amazing island and oeooke
Thanks for the update Garry. You seem to have finally shaken off your cough? Lots of infrastructure in place for the bridge. I agree with your other subscriber that 2028 seems a long way off. Perhaps a bit of overtime might be in order😂😂.
Thank you Davao Dave...I think the date will skip as like the Davao river bridge. On the coastal road...it's the supply chain which is the issue as well as the monies to pay for supply's ..it's looking good but early days
This is the second video in which you've stated that the fabrication area is to be the landing area for the bridge. It's not! The bridge will land 500m to the south, where works are well advanced and the alignment is very clear.
Thank you for your comment I did asked the security as well as the local bridge workers regards is this the construction area of the samal Davao bridge .agree there is an area 509;,meters along the road on the right which is where the bridge will arrive samal..
Everyone pays taxes in the Philippines whether they are Filipino or Foreigner , whether they have a job or not which is through " ALL their purchases " before you make such a rude "CAPITALIZE tone of comments". MAKE SURE YOU KNOW how TAXES in the Philippines works.. also if I may ask WHAT KIND of "TAXES" do YOU WANT him to make sure he pays??? Compensation taxes? Does he work? Which i believe he is not, since he is retired. Is it Business tax?? does he have business?.. if its the RUclips i'm not sure you are familiar with what we called "FINAL TAX" which is Automatically deducted to the youtubers income, meaning he DOESN'T need to do anything as Government already taken the "TAXES" from it. Now if there are other taxes that I have not mention , which HE needs to pay "Please do enlighten me". Please don't be rude to say if HE UNDERSTAND as if you are speaking to an Idiot and Stupid person which i believe is " YOU" FYI: Government Encourages Foreigners to retire here in the Philippines to boost our economy and to encourage investment.. So if YOU Don't have a nice things to Say and you are not well verse how taxes works just SHUT UP as "FOREIGNERS pays more TAXES than what you ever pay for your ENTIRE LIFE".. Government need them more to be in the Philippines THAN the government "NEED YOU HERE"
Good video... i never even knew they were building this bridge...i wonder how long it will take ?
