This is what The Kings were doing in 2015. That ENTIRE MADE album rollout was unprecedented and they owned the entire year (like they always do when they have a release). Jump back to 2012 and watch Fantastic Baby for just how innovative and forward pushing they were (that video still stands up and is a CLASSIC). Every group follows and studies what they do and have done.

BigBang are definitely OG group. Each member have a strong solo career. Brother group of BlackPink, iKON and Winner. CL is also apart of their company YG entertainment, which also houses AKMU. GD is the leader. He was dancing with the ball headed girl. That's Parris Goebel she actually choreographed the video and other YG artist video.
Taeyang started the video he has multiple songs and video solo and with GD, TOP followed, he has two solo music videos and multiple with GD, SeungRi also mutiple videos, and Daesung is massively popular in Japan.
GD is listed as a top money earner in SK when it comes to song writing and producing.
His videos are amazing, One of a Kind, Crayon, Untitled etc. He even has a song with Missy Elliot.

You guys are never ready for BigBang. No one is. Their music is always different. Their live performances are off the roof. Bae bae is even better let me tell you. BigBang will always release high quality music that will never disappoint which is why they are still huge in South Korea even after being in the industry for more than 12 years. Their impact is huge. I’m excited for you guys to see what else they have to offer. I really do recommend you guys to check out some of their live performances. My favorites are their MAMA 2015 performance and their performance of Tell Me Goodbye
BIGBANG aka The Kings of Kpop. They debuted in 2006 and are one (if not the most) legendary and most respected and influential kpop groups ever. The only group that each member has a succesfull solo career as well. Pink hair is Taeyang, cowboy is TOP, white hair is Seungri, bowlcut is Deasung and red hair is G-Dragon (or GD). They are the idols of idols. :D BTS are a huge fanboys of BIGBANG. They have started so many new trends in Kpop (like: writing and producing their own music (biggest thanks to GD, the musical genius), "real" rappers in groups (and what I mean by this is "real" rappers from the underground scene, like TOP (the first one in a kpop group), and not singers who try to rap a couple of lines here and there), fashion icons, new music genres (Fantastic Baby started an "EDM" era in Kpop), and the list goes on... They have a habit of exploring all the genres of music, you never know what they'll release next. :D
Here are few of my favs: Bae Bae (the whole MADE album is a masterpiece), Fxxk It, Zutter (GD&TOP), Lies (legendary song in kpop, their first big hit), Haru Haru (other legendary one), Bad Boy, Good Boy (GD&Taeyang), One of a kind (GD), Doom Dada (TOP), 1,2,3 (Seungri), Ringa Linga (Taeyang) and Shut up (Daesung).

Bigbang are literally the kings of kpop they’ve been writing their own songs sense 2006, most of their songs are written by their leader G-dragon (the one with the red hair). They did hip hop, R&B, pop and even rock songs and all became huge hits

The eternal Kings of Kpop! Big Bang is talented, funny and good in everything. But what I love the most is when they do concerts. Their concerts are fucking crazy, no one is like them. They run around the stage, they act freely, and this is the best, they know how to do a concert! People go crazy with them. I mean, they aren't the Kings for nothing. Big Bang is another level!

BigBang are definitely an OG group. They have been around for more than 12 years, since 2006, and they are the group that pretty much made K-hip-hop what it is today. They are one of the first Kpop groups to make it big in the U.S. and they are known as one of the groups with the largest international following. They are one of the top selling concert tours and they sell out concerts with tours that draw millions of fans. (Not an exaggeration. Their "Made" world concert tour had 66 shows and was attended by 1.5 million fans.) "Bang Bang Bang, is one of BigBang's most iconic songs. The whole MV had a kind of "Mad Max" kind of theme, and its supposed to have that club vibe. BigBang and "Bang Bang Bang" are known for being super innovative for the multiple styles within the song and for setting trends and not being afraid to do something unique.

If you like this, there's a lot more Big Bang with the similar vibe. Fantastic Baby, Fxxk It especially, and Good Boy by GD & Taeyang (two of the members). Taeyang's solo Ringa Linga also has the classic club vibe to it.
They have a lot of other sounds though. Older songs like Lies and Haru Haru are a bit more focused on vocals and are a bit more melancholy. Sober is a strong EDM beat but with a minor flavour to it, and it's my favourite song of theirs. GD's solos go from the party-reject song Crooked to the deeply meaningful Untitled 2014, as does Taeyang's powerful love song Eyes Nose Lips.
They're known as the kings of kpop for a reason; dig deeper boys!

Of course what do we expect from the Kings of Kpop. Ughhh i miss them. Cant wait for 4/5 to be out from the military.
Once that’s done are they coming back out with new music?
The Report Card Podcast we can definitely expect new music from bb. As for solos, probably some stuff from GD and Taeyang, hopefully we finally get a korean album from Daesung, as for T.O.P I can't see him releasing a solo album maybe a single or two (I honestly can't even see YG LETTING T.O.P release anything). If T.O.P were to do anything, it's likely to be more acting or art related things (YG thankfully can't control either of those).
@@TRCReactions that's what they promised but we still have to wait for seungri to in list and be discharged from the military. We are probably going to get solos or subunits. G-Dragon (GD) and taeyang or G-Dragon and TOP.
We'll prolly get a solo or sub unit once the 4 of them got out since Seungri will be the last one that will be enlisting they can't come back as a OT5 yet. Aside from group activities each member of Bigbang has also a successful solo careers. They also formed sub units within the group. For the sub-unit i highly suggest GD and Taeyang's GOODBOY and for GDTOP you can check KNOCKOUT. And pls if you have time can you react to TOP's DOOMDADA because now VIPS (fandom name) are preparing to get a 100million views as a gift to Top who'll get discharge in the military this coming june.

2015... can’t believe it was 4 yrs ago! This song was the first song of their MADE concert tours... and it did not disappoint. The hype, the anthem like beginnings, the onslaught of songs and performances to come after, unforgettable. If you guys ever get a chance to, please attend the concerts of the groups you like, in musicality and what not. It’s unbelievable and they all put on such a great show, worth every penny you pay for it. Thanks for your reactions, I truly appreciate your candor

Same is true for lots of songs, it's just a pronoun in Korean so it's used all the time. When Fake Love was played on the radio in the USA, they actually censored the instances of the word, so people thought that it actually was the n-word when it wasn't...

They have awesome and creative MVs and also their live is very good, they don't dance a lot, but what i most like, they enjoy to be on stage, they connecting well with public and make a grand party. They have many awesome stages in MAMA awards, even on 2014 G Dragon made a diss rap on MAMA cause it is shady snake...

As a giant fan of BIGBANG, I thank you so much for this reaction. I know this is a crazy "request/suggestion" but I'll try anyway. This song is part of their album titled MADE, which consists of 11 tracks total and they have MVs for 9 of them. So, it would be amazing to have a reaction/review of it. If I can I also suggest checking out the other members solo stuff, especially Taeyang's "Eyes, Nose, Lips" and "Ringa Linga".

Although 2NE1 is the group that got me interested in Kpop, it was Big Bang that really cemented that interest. There are several of their songs that are still on my favorites play list. Big Bang is also that group that got me started watching reactors as well, which has opened my eyes to all kinds of music and artists from all over the world that I would have never known about otherwise. They also got me started on watching the various variety and award shows too. Big Bang will always hold an extra special place for me. Their songs Loser, Blue, and Monster are still favorites (as well as Zutter is a guilty pleasure). I've followed their solo careers as well as their collaborations between each other and with other artists too.
OMG same here. I got curious because Dara became part of 2ne1. I liked their songs but HaruHaru of Bigbang made me fall in love with KPOP and became a VIP. I can still remember it back in 2009. It's almost a decade now.

I was one of the many that requested BigBang’s Bang Bang Bang on the 1,2,3 reaction video. Definitely react to Bae Bae and Loser next then once you have seen those MVs react to Bigbang’s live performance at the 2015 Mamas which includes all three songs. Hands down the best lives in kpop in my opinion. These guys know how to rule the stage.
If u guys ever have a question about the scene where the redhead guy tying a girl with a lease, actually if you look closely both of them got neck cuff and tied to each other. It's just a metaphor of a dynamic, changing in leading of a relationship. And the girl is Parris Goebel, the choreographer itself.

Aahhhh! Yesss! Thank you for reacting to Big Bang! They are literally the 2nd generation group that all 3rd generations (i.e. BTS, Winner, Ikon etc) look up to. They basically perfected the Kpop idol image and are amazing artists.
Fun facts:
1. Bigbang is the first group to start writing and producing their own music. G-Dragon is the first idol to do it. After that agencies started giving their idols chance to do it.
2. Bigbang is the first one to have official lightstick. G-Dragon designed it. Since then all fandoms followed it and now every fandom has their own lightstick.
3. T.O.P is the first underground rapper turned idol in kpop.
4. Bigbang is the first boy group to dye their hair bright unusual colors like pink, blue, neon green, orange. G-Dragon made it trend, starting from blonde there is no color he hasn't tried.
5. Bigbang is the first group that members have solo careers without disbanding. Before bigbang, groups always disbanded or the member just left if one of them wants to pursuit their own career. But Bigbang showed them you can have solo career while still being in the group.
6. First kpop artist to collaberate with western artist. G-Dragon's collaboration with Flo Rida back in 2009.
7. First kpop group to win an international award. In 2011, they won MTV EMA. They beat Britney Spears that day.
8. They inroduced the concept of Mini Album to kpop.
9. The first to have rapline. As in multiple rappers in group. Before them rapper in group was just someone who can't sing which is the reason why idol rappers weren't considered true rappers.
10. And to this day G-Dragon is still the only soloist from idol groups to win Artist of the Year/Daesang.
Their influence and impact in kpop is heavy that is why they are called the KINGS.

Big Bang was the first ever Kpop group I listen to and vibed with i'm glad you enjoyed it at first listen for some it may seem like a lot to take in because they're not use to it but BIG BANG are definitely kings and they have a wide range of music they're very experimental, creative, fun and very smart each member has their own songs as well The leader of the group G-Dragon is actually a Fashion icon as well he has his own brand they are a very influential group please check out their others as well (:
