subtitles in the beginning don’t take into account korean “slang” lol so it may seem like strange lyrics but basically he’s saying that they were underdogs and worked their way up and now they’re successful af. the rest of the song is in english tho.

Pay Attention Mr Officer considering BTS makes music mostly in korean and yet they’re STILL breaking records in the US is pretty successful to me. Korean awards shows have scheduled the shows solely around BTS’ schedules. Many artists are trying to collaborate with them. Get out of my mentions and go work your 9-5 bank job, sweetheart.
Just a little background. BTS started in small company called BigHit. Bec of their hard work, dedication, talent, love for ARMY (fans name), genuine personalities, humbleness incredible performances, dance moves that is so unlikely for a kpop grp, deep, meaningful and relatable lyrics of their music which the members write and co-produce, they became huge worldwide. They are now the biggest boy group worldwide.

When you talk about how hard it is to move behind the camera men they do this a lot actually and they give us behind the scene footage to all of their music videos. They feed us very well. That must be why they're the Top Social Artist for two years in a row. Their MV 'Save Me' was done in one shot.
You guys should watch them perform this song live. It's just amazing!
BTS is the best group right now. They have been since the Blood Sweat and Tears era. I don't care if anyone else here disagrees because they continuously blow my mind with their music, lyrics, energy, dance and videos. No other group can top them. They really deserve all the global recognition they're getting 💜

Being an army are such great adventure. We never know what BTS gonna do next. They always try to challenge new things. This is maybe because they produce own music and have 7 members that have own taste in music. Like jimin said recently in vlive, "I love the fact that i can do many things in BTS".

Their Save Me MV is iconic. Filmed in one shot on a beach while it was drizzling. The ‘making of’ video shows how they hussle hard to make it.
DNA by BTS is a must. Plus Fire and Not Today. Oh and also Danger. But their live performance are better if not top notch.

For another movie-like video I would recommend Not Today. If you like the choreo I would recommend Fire and Dope. Not sure if you'd like the song but Save Me has some good videography as well. Honestly all of their videos are amazing quality and the choreo is always on point so any mv you watch will be great!

Yeah, BTS is known for their cinematic videos, complex choreography and amazing lyrics. They change their appearance/style with every MV and they move between different genres of music constantly. Originally, they were pure hip hop, so Mic Drop takes them back to their roots, but they also have made pop, rock, soul, reggae tracks as well.
Fun fact! They used this song (but the remix with desiigner as well) for lakers for NBA :)

👀 if you're into film, you definitely gotta check out more BTS MVs. the editing is AMAZING, but also just about every music video is like its own short film - the storytelling is spectacular. (they also have a series of actual short films.) there is a fictional universe/storyline that runs throughout most of their MVs. their music is great, and they truly approach every aspect (music, choreography, performance, music videos) as art.

Im glad u noticed their chemistry. There are many idol groups who only work with eachother yet don't actually get along or have that bond. BTS have a great bond and trust, like they love each other like family so when they dance and perform u can feel the good vibes cuz it's all amplified too plus the energy they give oml. The can bicker and argue yet the CEO leaves them to work it out amongst themselves, and Rm who is the leader is the mediator. BTS really grew both in fame and personally, yet even if the fame they are still really humble and work SUPER HARD. Thanks for the reaction . U should react to them performing this but live. When reacting to BTS or K-pop keep in mind they change their music genres and can also blend in music styles so every video or song is always different.

I loved this song so much! It was the first BTS song I heard and I have been hooked ever since. ARMY all the way! Can’t say enough about this song with its lyrics, composition, MV effects, and symbolic meaning behind the lyrics. I heard one commentary say that the hooded figures with all the mics in their faces were all their haters and the media talking them down and saying that they’d never make it. BTS responds by saying you thought I was going to fail but I’m fine, sorry Billboard, sorry worldwide, if you’re jealous sue me. Did you see my bag it’s filled with trophies(too heavy), my success is already so golden. On so many planes to many places, so busy,. Your cornea’s will be shocked because we’re just so cool. FYI- BTS got the idea for Mic Drop from a watching a video on former President Obama (They also study many MV's of Rappers/Hip Hop artists, where they get their swag, dance moves... just adding to it.) RM, the main Rapper and the groups Leader once said - he copies Black people bc he loves their attitude and swag...like, they don't care what people think about them... like they don't worry about it. Well, all I can say is - GREAT JOB!
Lol if u gonna keep reacting to BTS u soon gonna see what their every single has different mix of genres in it. When i first stumbled upon them i couldn't believe all those songs are by same group. BTS are such a chameleons, they treat their body as white canvas and changes their looks, clothing style, mannerism, dancing styles to embody every new album or song concept. they can act very well. No matter what MV director want of them: Dark, Sexy, Innocent, Sad, Angry, Romantic, Rebellious, no mater what genre songs they wrote Pop, Hiphop, Edm and everything in between, they still manage to pull of them all.
I recommend: Fire, Not today, DNA, Spring Day, Save me, Blood Sweat and Tears. for MV watching, but honestly these songs are just most catchy BTS songs they pick as Singles, but their actual best songs are always B tracks that never gets MV.
