I am thinking to upgrade to a RS4 avant too and letting go over my Stage 2+ 140i for a grown up family car. Only concern I have is the gearbox isn’t known for being strong. It’s essentially the same gearbox in a regular A4/5/6 etc so not sure it’s okay to take the extra torque stage 2 provides?

Great choice, however make sure you get the Rocker arms done (common fault that could end up badly) - Highly recommend www.youtube.com/@VAGTechnic they know this issue inside and out

Not heard many issues with them. This has had a transmission map aswell so not sure if that helps
