The War Of The Worlds 1913 Game Is A Nice Adaption Of The War Of The Worlds

- The War Of The Worlds 1913 is a game based on H.G. Wells The War Of The Worlds novel and it's quite good for a short experience adaption of the original book version! But I also noticed how it was inspired by many different adaptions of HG Wells The War Of The Worlds, including The War Of The Worlds 1953 film, The Great Martian War 1913-1917, Jeff Wayne's Musical Version Of The War Of The Worlds and even Steven Spielberg's 2005 War Of The Worlds starring Tom Cruise. I found this War Of The Worlds game, created by Stefano Cagnani, to be a nice adaption and it certainly makes a nice change from FOX's War Of The Worlds and the BBC's War Of The Worlds that we've gotten lately. The War Of The Worlds 1913 game is a worthwhile, fun and nicely stylised adaption of H G Wells The War Of The Worlds.

Your nitpick isn’t as bad as mine. My biggest nitpick is the fact that it’s 1913 and the biplane they used is the Fairey Swordfish. Which wouldn’t exist until the 30’s.
The ambiance is very reminiscent of the original source. I def felt some nostalgia

What a great game! This is surprisingly the best war of the worlds experience I've ever witnessed from movies or games 😂 also I think you _might_ have been a british soldier when you played as the soldier, I think the British used to wear those helmets with those uniforms, back before the cap and eventually brody helmet of world war 1. Awesome game :D
The tank that you found in no mans land was an FT light tank (the first successful turreted tank design, absolutely revolutionary and probably my favorite tank of world war 1.
I'm not surprise you think the music feels like an old soundtrack from an old alien invasion film, because it is! 😊 Actually the musics are from two films, the first is from the 1953 adaptation of the some book. The second one (the creepy one with the corus) is from another film of the same year called "invaders from mars". A very atmospheric and spooky film of the time!

Finally they got it right and held to the original story.
Couple of problems, if that’s outside London, it must be London Arizona. And in 1913 it would have been the RFC. Royal Flying Corp. not the RAF.

It's nice to see someone make an experience like this about The War Of The Worlds. It's definitely a story that works brilliantly in different mediums and it's surprising to me that there haven't been that many game adaptions, hopefully more will come out too! The War Of The Worlds 1913 is certainly a nicely done adaption!
A VR version would be amazing. Based on the book; no jet planes etc. A take cover/hide kind of game where the player needs to get to the coast and escape England and, failing that, has to survive under the watchful eye of the Martians.

I’d love a game on the 2005 War of the Worlds film. I can imagine the over shoulder camera like RE4. If you finish the game in under 8 hours then you can unlock Tom’s Top Gun outfit.
