Nice table and design. New subscriber here, you must be the only woodworking utuber who doesn’t have a $10,000 outfeed table. Just proves that there’s hope for us mere mortals yet!
First i was in awe by the number of domino's you use to line up your panels, and i assumed that you are just overly cautious. I forgot that idea when i watched your table saw habits.
That’s a beautiful table! I really like the base. I want to build a round table but haven’t figured out the base. I also want to have a lazy susan in the middle. I’m curious about how many people can sit comfortably and how do you like the base? It looks like it’s back enough that you don’t bang your knees. Would you change anything if you were to do it over?
Thanks! It was built to seat six comfortably in decent size chairs but you could squeeze in eight for sure. I really like the way it came out I wouldn’t really change anything but maybe lower the crossing point where the base chris-crosses
LOVE the look of Walnut. I just hate that my shop smells like a horse stall and my finger tips look like I've been scratching in my sleep. Nice piece Kyle...as always.
We get used to working with what we have. I've had three jointers, none ever had guards. I don't love it, but it makes me hyper-aware when I'm jointing.
The smell from cutting walnut is the best thing about being a woodworker.
You should try turning or cutting fresh cherry!
Cedar or paduk
Or Bubinga - but you are right, walnut is the nicest stuff. My favourite.
Welcome, advanced sensory gentlemen of RUclips.
My wife says it's Danish Oil. But she sniffed too much to have a clear head when she made her assessment
Awesome build Kyle! Sometimes I miss the old videos where you attached the camera to everything imaginable.
I can feel my wrists hurt just watching the clamp up. Beautiful Table!

Why the double-plate top? Is it to distribute the pressure better?
Yeah, and for support

Beautiful table! What is your glue of choice or does it vary on the type of project?
Tightbond 2 for everything except veneering projects I use Unibond 800

Also tell Ms. DOC O'Hay Hay All Day Day hello!
Me gusta las patas de esta mesa👌
Kick ass
nice one. but i hope that those hands don't slip of the wood one time when planing it as that's what that red thing will prevent ;)

Are you having Vikings over for supper?
It is a bit weighty looking. Undercutting the top's edge may have helped this one.
Those legs really take the biscuit...
That's a tall coffee table

Is that girl with the butt itch ok? 😮
