  • Put a body lift from Low Range on my convertible geo tracker. Not a difficult job but it does take some time. This is the second tracker I own that runs this same lift.

      Thanks. Just made a couple changes so more videos are coming. Try my best to post one every Wednesday. Hopefully I can get back in the woods soon and make some more offroad videos.

    I got the Calmini 6"inch lift system and had to extend my 4wd selector shifter (in kit). Yes, You do need to lower the front brake lines ( drill a hole lower in inner fender) My Kick is a Calmini catalog build. Black with flames, you'll know it when ya see it. :)

      Thinking about doing flames on one of my trackers. I will have to look yours up.

    Do you have to extend anything for the automatic transmission shifter??? Awesome vids btw keep em coming!!!

    • @trashpandaoffroad3548
      @trashpandaoffroad3548  3 года назад +2

      As far as I remember only the transfer case shifter. I think I had to do a little trimming under the covers of the automatic shifter on order to make sure it had full range of motion.

      Thanks. I am pretty lucky, I am on a dead end street surrounded by car guys. As far as the rear windows go, the 95 and up had different tops than the earlier ones. What year are you wondering about.

    Regarting the Steering rod, do we have yo make any modifications?

    • @trashpandaoffroad3548
      @trashpandaoffroad3548  3 года назад

      I did not. I did loosen both ends and slide it to the end of the groove. It barely reaches. I am going to try to put a non power steering shaft on and see if that fits better.

    Can u just put a front body lift on ??

    • @trashpandaoffroad3548
      @trashpandaoffroad3548  4 месяца назад

      I would imagine you could just put in the front ones. There are 2 right under the headlights and 2 under the floorboards where your feet go. It may put a bend in the body over time and create issues with door and top fitment but I don't know. Never heard of anyone doing this.

    Could you walk me thru how you got the pucks in? Did you start with one side at a time?

      On this rig I think I did. I loosened everything first and then did one at a time just getting the nut finger tight. I am gonna do another one in couple weeks and I am thinking of doing a more detailed video.

      I have done a couple now so I can one by myself in about 4hrs. The hardest part is getting the body to line back up into the holes.

      The one that got wrecked had working ac and I think the white one that I haven't started working on does. The tin top I ran at tuff trucks did have non working ac so I took it out when I did the motor swap.

      The kit I buy comes with all of the parts. I get it from low range offroad. If I remember the kit uses a threaded bolt to screw onto the bolts that come off the body. Not sure of the length.
