A great tip I found for pushing dead cars by yourself is to grab one of the wheels and turn it by hand. You get more leverage and it is much easier than just trying to push.
11:44 wow!!! That's the nicest multimeter I have ever seen 👀😮🙈
2:44 “Why not just spray paint this stuff black?”
“Because that’s the HALF ASS WAY OF DOING IT.”🤨
Never have I seen a face match so closely to an emoji.🤣
All I want is a Crosstrek STi... But I guess a Forester STi could work!!!! Love this stuff! Keep em comming gurl!!! TY
"If you enjoy pointless JDM stuff, your going to love this video" Hilarious!
Buddy: "What color for the Focus interior?"
Sarah: "Tactical Thermo-Nuclear Detonation White"
Buddy: "Oh we got that."
(It looks badass)
Chevy Chase needed Sarah's help to wire the homestead in "Christmas Vacation."
I'm SO Glad my '17 Forester XT Touring came w/those headlights and interior... plus my headlights have the steering responsive movement which is pretty cool too. :)
Sarah, great job on Mr Gump STI make over. Always do everything the right way.
I did the Black interior look for my '03 Holden VY Series I S Ute 5 years ago using OEM. It came out far better than expected & still looks modern.
Sourcing Subaru STi parts from Australia will be hard as they are snapped up quickly by Subaru owners here. It's just a matter of keep searching online.
Lol I suppose we'll either have to call it the "Gump Edition" or "Subaru Forester SnT".
I'm mesmerized by Sarahs electrical expertise.
I thought your James May poster was Fred lurking in the corner 😂
Sarah is the re pin expert , thanks again for another awsome video to make Sunday night enjoyable 😀 your work is phenomenal 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Once you get over your “PTSD” from Mr. Dos’ wiring project, I’m convinced you will eventually wire up the adaptive headlights on Gump. It’s kind of like the same reason mountain climbers climb mountains… 😉
I love how your videos are uploaded only 10 minutes and already have over 1000 views. Keep up the good work!
Hahaha that must have been Saturday. That was the best storm we've had in awhile.
I’m def not a Subaru fan but this is a super cool project. All of your projects are super cool.
If what I want to do after the TT is gone happens, you’ll lose your mind then! Haha
👏 Given the Gump some love, I love the Gump. The new headlamps are fabulous a much more clean look.
Can't believe they sent you two of the same parts. Sarah you seem genuinely surprised that underneath the rear seat was clean, you look after the Gump very well, Seven years and only a starter motor failure is excellent. ❤😊👍
By the way the focus looks awesome. ☺👍
Sarah, you are one hard worker.
I love the fact that I was watching one of your old videos, Rally Cross, when you uploaded this!
Me too. Just started watching her videos like 20 minutes ago and subscribed immediately.
@@rofhiwathomasnetshandama1597 That's awesome! Welcome to the fan club.
I like the black interiors on white cars, after all that work on the oven with the lights... well, the new ones look good too; nice!.
Hi Sarah great video as always I can't wait until the forester is finished to the sti version 😀
2015 crosstrek 190K miles that I put on and its drives like a charm
This is going to be an awesome project 😃 the type of which only you with your eye for detail and your amazing skills can pull off 😮 just the greatest 😊❤️
With your major attention to detail, there's no way you will ever be able to build cars for other people because 99% of customers wouldn't have the patience or be willing to pay for the amount of work and PERFECTION that you put into every project.
So here's to believing you reach 1 million subscribers soon, so you start making the money you deserve for the work you do.
Keep it up, that's why we watch, even if it's pointless as you said.....👍
Genuine parts last 25 years or more if they are official japan. Atleast thats the case with my 96 t100. Tons of original parts
Always enjoying your uploads - nicely edited videos - Quality !! 😍
You are right, Sarah. Never half-ass anything. Always whole-ass it. Yup.
It's the only way.
Hahaha, one of your ads was for the new Ford Bronco (which you had an order for) comparing it to the Subaru Forester, which you currently own and was the subject of this video. Irony at its best!
Lovely Jubbly Sarah, great attention to detail yet again.
stick the boxes back up or turn them over to open, then other for us
#19! All my favorite YTers are posting sequentially today. What are the odds of that happening.
My 2016 FXT has 125,000 miles. No issues with CVT whatsoever. Think RUclips Subie haters are being idiots with their CVT.
And most didn’t even one one.
I have owned two. Yours is at the end of its useful lifespan, which averages about 120K. Drive it nice, and you can get a little more life out of it.
so cool cant wait to see whats next for it
So how comfy was the back of the Forester? But hey… RAIN! So happy to have freaking rain finally!
"High beams." Not as high as Sarah is on life, seeing how the Forester turned out with the mods.
im so glad u bought the bottom rare panel also that would have annoyed me if it was my car :O
Haha, yep! I bought seatbelt adjusters from a wrx in black too.
Hi Sarah thanks for the comment about Subaru CVT being ok. I've had my XT for 6 years now 106k miles, I use it on my farm (ranch in US parlance?) occasionally and it's amazing. 2 ATF changes and a lot of hard road driving and towing and it's still ok.
They are so nice, I wanna grab them and squeeze them.
I get converting to a black interior, but if you put in leather or vinyl seats you'd better sit on a black towel in the summer so you don't burn your thighs. After all, it *is* Arid-zona.
I admire all the mechanical modifications you made to the Gump. Your suspension mods in particular, were intelligent and beautifully done.. the only time you lost me was the Odyssey and travails you endured to make trickier headlights...several times.
And now, removing a near mint, beautifully maintained interior to install what you accurately described as "pointless JDM stuff" feels ... Just ... So ... Really?
You accurately predicted I wouldn't get it. We all love you. Please sell the TT or face consequences only Ulysses could overcome. It will sing to your wallet like sirens.
I'm watching you ditch the custom headlights you spent many days making now. Ouch.
Ah. At least you can sell them. After opening and wiping crud off glass and resealing. A day right?
Awesome love the look on the Subaru
10:15 serious Sarah nostril flair heart and soul response to frustration. But will Sarah let that get her down... you know the answer.
I'm intrested in buying your retrofits when the time comes, Sarah!
Hi Sarah, I've just found your channel and I'm completely hooked. You're so funny and refreshingly authentic! I just wince every time you let your hair dangle near a running engine, please be careful!
Arizona rainstorms can be 5 minutes or hours....water drains into rivers and we call them floods...
Suby`s are the best. almost instant heat and great air. I love my suby`s.
The inside of the Ford is so bright white, I can't even Focus...
If you use SEM prep and interior dye you would never have a problem with chipping or flaking.
Inside of the Focus looks like Willy Wonka’s Television Room
Inside of Focus looks amazing!! Keep up the awesome work!!😎🚘
Sarah......Since you say you are OCD, did you consider putting sound deadening on the
bare metal after you pulled the trim off?
I wanted a Forester but the head gasket issues scared me, so I bought a 2010
Toyota RAV4 with the V6. Amazing power upgrade from my '97 Accord.
I am literally doing the same thing to my Subaru Bp Legacy!
Sarah I love your channel I always look forward to your new videos and you do an amazing job❤️❤️
I love how you do things the right way… too many just half ass shit when it only takes a little bit longer to do thing the right way…
Great Job!!! Thank You... :-)
if you need me to get any parts to you from Australia let me know.. happy to help out where needed :) got a major STi dealer 2 miles from home.
Just need the black trim around the map and dome lights in the ceiling from the STI tS edition. Also the oh’shit handles!
@@SarahnTuned ok. are the handles universal as we are right hand drive. 2017-18 model yah?

From one socially awkward high tech SW human to another -
Subby got the CVT correct, Nissan did not. My friends 09 Cube died at 46k and the engine was blowing though 1 qt. of oil every 1k miles and the CVT bit the dust. Nissan wanted $7k to replace it. Scrapped it.
The black interior so much better wow I would not have thought it would make that much difference.
Subaru cvt’s break offroad. I don’t think anyone has complaints under normal on road usage.
Great video!
Sarah, how many times have you done a drain and fill on the Gumpster's CVT?
Never, I’m going to 6speed swap it. It only has 47k miles anyway.
@@SarahnTuned Your right, no need
@@SarahnTuned I hope any car at 47k can still be considered reliable.
gump gettin some love
You did not get the "overnight from Jspan" Torreto hookup?
Going to see the Forester getting same love
Looking forward to more Teeter Tot.
Make sure to change the fluid in your cvt. I know it says lifetime, but long story short, I have experience.
Dealer wanted 3k for a part inside the cvt but a fluid change fixed it.
I’m 6 speed swapping it, no need.
That whole white-with-black-trim combo -- there's only one word for it: yep, "Crisp"!
All your plastic interior part let off gases too, that how your windscreens get scummy inside even if you don’t smoke etc..
Oh no way!!! Haha
Enjoyable video...well done.
Yeah,,, all the hail and rain made the ceiling fall in at the Mall ! Must be global warming ? Lol !
How is hail formed?
Well done.
Wait a minute, the beam pattern is the opposite in LH drive countries.
Every time I see a new video from you it makes my day! Thank you for brightening my days Sarah!!
Great video Sarah
Hey thanks!
Overnight parts from Japan 🥃🤘🏻💌
That Rhino-liner isn't going to be like driving in the snow? I rode in a C8 Corvette with the white dash. It was quite distracting. Lol
The dash is black 😂
Subaru dealer parts are amazingly priced!!!!!! I was getting new parts from Subaru cheaper than salvage yards were asking.
should have done Hella Sharptones at the same time as headlights
Hi Sarah! Hope you can also share the links of where you were able to purchase the STI parts you got. Would appreciate it a lot! Thank you!
Only 300 units were sold in Australia and I own one. Very cool car and fun to drive
Love this!!
Where will you be selling your old retrofit headlights? I have a premium XT that needs a facelift of its own.
Any chance the headliner can be "tinted"? It's not plastic... Find a spare over at the junk yard and see how it would look. Just a thought.
Lotta high beam in this video 😉
You are big brain, that’s all I came here to say…👍🏻
I wish I would've had Sara as my high school auto mechanic shop teacher… For several reasons…
*Sarah… 😉
Back then it would have been Charles.
@@TeamGun “Careful, Icarus…”. 😑
When you look up passionate and dedicated in the dictionary, Sarah's picture is there. Yup, Webster gave her two entries.
I'm only here for the nerdy eye candy!
Call or email som Japanese car importers and ask if they can find you a Forester STI tS full interior.
I just bought front and rear seats from a 2019 STI with the optional Recaro package 🤫
@@SarahnTuned so cool
I think I saw two blaze orange air bags in that Subaru!!!
I saw that tape player jamming on the ranger 😂👍
Awesomeness
Get intouch with some subie wreckers in aus you might find some parts for it to convert your car fully to sti specs . Or dont you like second hand parts ?
Nice Video - 👍 i say you "ARE" a tuner because you personalize your rides and thats interesting.
I'm certainly not disappointed with my Bi-LED steering responsive headlights in my Legacy after I've been using an EvoX-R Bi-Xenon Retrofit in my Cobalt for the past 8 years.
Just thinking of making my forester xt like a tS and this showed up. Waiting for the next vid of the forester
Hi Sarah any updates on Ranger? Thank you for great content!
Ug… Sorry about the MR2 setback.
Gumpstuff!
Managed to get here 28 seconds after the video posted. Keep up the great work! My wife and I are invested in all of your projects and tune in to every update.
