The point of the video shows a trucker using his brain to solve a problem and achieved success.

@@shawnalvarez333 There are all kinds of stuck and ways to be stuck. He was briefly stuck on the road but solved the problem. At least he wasn't stuck for an answer to his problem. It was sort of a misleading line mainly due to preconceived notions about the meaning of stuck.
What gets people to watch?
Kind of a click bait title
Sees his path is blocked by closed road. Doesn't make U-turn. Waits for traffic to clear. Maneuvers carefully. Returns the way he came. Great job, driver.
I like how that black car just sat there like he was witnessing the sky caving in.
I saw them sitting there and just thought my front wheels would be turned to the right, and my right foot would be pressing the long thin peddle

That's how I would've handled the situation. He didn't make a U-turn, waited for the cars to pass, and didn't hit anything or anyone. I'm not sure why he's a bonehead. He's a professional driver who handled a sticky situation...professionally.
Real truckers don’t wear flip flops unless getting a shower lol
I wear my crocs everywhere. It’s only because I’m so hard on shoes. As soon as a pay 100 bucks on new shoes, their dirty and scuffed up within a week. Also I can wear my crocs in the shower and just walk out and they’re dry in 20 minutes! Greatest invention ever for me.
I wear sandals when I’m driving for long periods and when showering. I get stinky feet when I wear shoes to long. I’m a real trucker.

@@maxiboy2704 well if I can find some plastic or rubber shoes, I’d be on board. Can’t do boots because nothing is more uncomfortable than those. I like to be able to just rinse the dirt and mud off my shoes and have them look new after. Dirty shoes are a pet peeve of mine. But don’t worry, I never wear em into a shipper or receiver. I have steel toes for that purpose only.
@@Lost_AtSea_ I get ya man. It’s just a huge safety concern because of the damage that could happen say if someone ran over your foot and was fully loaded. I’ve seen it happen and it’s not pretty let me tell ya. But I’m all about to each their own, stay safe.

I think the driver did exaclty what he should have done considering the circumstances. Came to a closed road and made a 3 point turn out of it and got er pointed the other way. Aside from not having the gear up all the way, I see that he didn't "get stuck". Nicely done.
Driver did what he had to do, But no warning road signs road was closed beforehand. normally a couple miles back before a closure you'd get a warning,

@@maxiboy2704 Yeah, it is laziness. Same as not cranking them all the way down to lift the trailer off the 5th wheel. then they pull out and drop the trailer.

At least there was no damages and he got out even making up for the mistake of forgetting the landing gear good job driver stayed calm and got himself out of that situation

The worse thing about the video was that heifer on the side of the road yelling like what was the dude supposed to do then the heifer starts throwing her hooves up all over the place
He ain't no bone head. The road was closed and he realized he couldn't go the other route so he backed up. At least he didn't tear up shit
Something tells me that this particular driver didn't read the signs alerting local traffic only.
The only bone heads I saw were the 4 wheelers, not giving him room to maneuver. Couldn't really tell if he was dragging the landing gear or the skirting. Probably both.
Well I wouldn't exactly call that getting stuck but it was a bonehead move back blind across the road like that

I've come across road closed signs with no warning prior. Sometimes you have to get in the left lane and back out the way you came. Don't ever u turn unless you have an intersection like this guy did.
I have been driving for 71 years and have had to turn around or back out several times because the "ever efficient" highway department did nor have any warning signs for road closed ahead.

I'm sure there were signs some 2-5 miles back warning the road was closed...at least the neighbor was nice enough to tell him about the landing gear. If not I'm sure they would of gotten bent on the downhill

I would have done the same thing! In fact, I had to do that in Washington, DC once, I waited for the light to change backed across the intersection and pulled back out. At least this JB Driver was paying attention! Good job Driver, you made it on Bonehead Truckers but not as a BONEHEAD!

I can’t tell you how many times I have been down two lanes and just come to road closed signs.. what was he supposed to do I have done similar things , it’s not ideal but you don’t have much of a choice sometimes

Good God man. I watched a Stupid Ego Truck back up an on- ramp, across the street blocking 4 lanes of traffic, and down the opposite exit ramp because he went the wrong way. Can't fix stupid.

I wear flip flops all the time! When I'm at HOME. They stay at home, too! Only my boots and a pair of tennis shoes (for resets) go in the truck with me. Except for a pair of cheap slides I use in showers

How many Road Closed signs did they pass before they got to that point? I’m sure there was a detour set up, and they chose to ignore or couldn’t read the signs.
