This video came just in time as I was starting to look at this list to get an idea of the dragons i should be getting. Even as inexperienced as i am the list felt really weird in many spots. If a new player can find issues with the best dragon ranking list then im confused on why it wasnt proofed, because it takes only a few seconds to see some of the flaws. I think i gave a lot more credit to the list than i should have
A while ago when I was a new player, I found this list and saw that Usurper Vampire was at a shocking 4th place among Legendary dragons! So of course, when a summoning happy hour came, I instantly and excitedly used all my joker orbs and summoned it. Quite a bad idea, I would suggest.
These classement is based on damage overall and special skills which is pretty intelligent because you can one shot other dragon like redemption karma perception Seriously If you have redemption HMK dual dragon are great If you have them for tactics especially when you put HMK In front then redemption then prideful or hexed for their abilities
Quackalakes do u know an easy 8 to 10 hour breed that i can put in my breeding den overnight for heroic race to get guaranteed item. I don’t have 12 hour skips.
And the rank system in the power and hp claculator is also based on the old system. I really wish they would fix it cuz if you just set it to c- and multiply that number by 0.7 its way more than ingame :/

I've been binging your videos these days and i am loving the quality and the way you explain things; I also have a question, i got the new scale dragon and i saw that u got him up to 4* and i would love to know how you got the extra orbs, as a f2p i got him to 3* but i couldnt get more orbs if not by trading, but that will cost me a lot of essences (i currently have 140 from the quest). Edit: i also noticed that theres a new collection added to the game with only 1 dragon currently, apparently its a new family called altered? But if you click on the dragon it says its breedable, ita prob bugged but who knows lol
Hi, I got more scale orbs from the previous collection - if you managed to finish the final collection section, you had a chance of dropping a lot of orbs. I got over 300 orbs from this collection drop, which means I could e4 him without any trading required (on top of heroic combat quests, arena orbs etc)

hexed deserve no 1because her special skill hex-agony base damage is already high...now imagine shes 5 star...ive seen one do hex-agony damage 100k+ for 1 hit even though its not even 3 or 4 hit...now combine 100k for 6x times and that's the overall damage
All HVIPs are better than standard except for Occult. Personally redemption dragons are the best legendary dragons because it is like adding a 4th dragon to your team.
@@Muse-is6dt Dual is not the only other legendary that exists - we have twd dragons, karmas, corrupteds... It not either dual perception or vampires being the only options
I made this mistake on my last account, i got hexxed and invested many orbs and perks on her. Everything was fine for a while, i was one shoting even some heroics. But then later on pvp and leagues i was getting murdered by dragons with primal element, even arcana dragons were destroying me. So ur totally right that it is a very good dragon early on, you don't even need any other strong dragons, but later she's not as good. I thought you were being a little harsh with dual perception, but when i think about it i was dealing with them very easily lol. But he's still my best dragon and most of the time i don't even have to switch him out. I'll be getting better dragons soon, HRN during SHH and Occult titan after i beat the South American kids on the race.
It’s unfortunately the common tragedy of a defensive pure dragons to be honest. They are really strong and powerful but are 1 primal dragon away from being a was.
yeah, i totally disagree on that. Hexed still is by far the best dragon on this game Sure the primal dragons will destroy it, but then just dont use her when you know you'll be playing against them. Same goes for any dragon lmao
Mmm. My problem is that, having quit playing for several years, the dragons I have are no longer useful. In a sense, it doesn’t matter, as I completed the leagues to level 400 back when I was playing, but I can no longer win league battles at level 400 with a combat boost with my old heroic dragons, so, if it comes to league battles in heroic races, I need to buy or spin my way past them. I’m trying to decide whether I’m willing to work on that or whether I’m just done.
It doesnt take long to get empowered dragons. Since league opponents cap at level 40, it really doesnt take long. Your league level doesnt matter, it's your player level that determines league opponents
@@quackalakes Well, as the only dragons I really focused on previously were my 11 heroic dragons, which were trained, pushed up to level 40 and used until I maximized the combat bonuses, it kind of does? It’s relatively easy (if time consuming) to empower breedable dragons, but doesn’t seem to be particularly easy to empower the old heroic dragons when I’m unwilling to spend money on the game. I’d need 480 gems per dragon to get them up to 120 orbs (when orbs appear in the shop) to empower to one star (as I’m starting from 60). I can do that, but the prospect is rather daunting. Or I have to be lucky, which I’m not. (I seldom make it past the third room in the Wizard Tower. I have decided to redefine finding a wizard as quickly as possible as winning, because it’s less frustrating that way.). I have a second High Fenrir Dragon, so I can empower that and get it above level 40. I have acquired the High Flying Dragon (very costly in terms of gems when you cannot win league battles), and am empowering that one, as I have orbs to do it. I can win with that as part of the group, but the four star empowered dragons with perks I end up against in the leagues (usually the more recent heroic dragons) have greater hit points and greater attack power than my older heroic dragons even when capped at level 40 and using the Winstance tower to boost my dragons. I loathe the phoenix perk with every fiber of my being. As nothing used to do double damage against pure, I have a lot of Heroic Dragons with pure as the first element, which are much less useful now. Etc., etc. If I want to empower other dragons, this is more time consuming than you might think. My prior philosophy was “only keep duplicate dragons if you need them for breeding” (the second High Fenrir was a rare exception only because I didn’t get around to selling it) and “only hatch dragons you’re absolutely required to in order to reduce habitat/land/dragonarium costs”. Besides, hatching more dragons caused me to level up, which wasn’t advantageous. I am at level 79, and, before I quit playing, had finished all of the quests in the colosseum, the ancient world, the breeding sanctuary, and the leagues to level 400-- everything but the last segment of Phaun’s tower, which I didn’t need. It’s not that I can’t do it; it’s just going to be a lot of work.
@@whiteserpent6753 hi, I was also a returning player maybe I can help. Your old heroics are probably useless anyways but it doesn't take long to get new, better ones. Only buy the orbs for gold in the orbs shop. The gem ones aren't worth it. There's a race every month one starts tomorrow, if you get to lap 15 you'll get a new heroic with orbs to empower it, it's easy to do f2p. If you have a bunch of gems try going for lap 18, you'll get enough orbs to 3 or 4 star that new heroic and get it to lvl 55/60. Lastly try breeding the cosmic detonation dragon. It's way better than every normal heroic and simple to breed. You'll never struggle in leagues again they're stuck at 5⭐ lvl40.
@@whiteserpent6753also one more thing, anything at lvl40 is under levelled in the game now. It's not a problem though because food is alot easier to acquire, just join a lvl6 chest alliance. You'll get plenty of food, gems and orbs to 5 star a random legendary. Some of those alliances are a bit unreasonable with their points requirements but most are great, you just need to keep looking.
@@legendary8988 This isn't bad advice, but keep in mind that I need to win league battles or gem/spin past the league fights in order to get to lap 15+. I did that with the High Flying Dragon, and it required hundreds of gems. That's not a sustainable option. I do, however, have the new heroic shark thing and got the high marauder out of an arena chest, so I should be able to empower those as well in the near future. The High Flying Dragon can win (at three stars, level 55, purple 3) some of my league battles (the ones I could win before with Winstance), but not all. At the level I am, there are several people with teams of three 5 star VIP Heroics. Unfortunately, the High Flying Dragon takes double damage from wind, and most of the 5-star heroics I run into have wind attacks. The empowerment also increases their speed, so they often get two attacks off before I can do anything. Even with them capped at level 40, these are not fights I can currently win. As long as I can actually empower the shark thing and the marauder (or, a couple of my better older heroics), I will probably have enough elemental diversity to consistently win during events where league wins are required (the only reason I care). I don't have sufficient breeding perks to unlock the cosmic detonation dragon. I am instead breeding more legacy dragons to level up my legacy dragon so I can breed the Storm Bringer dragon to continue fighting in the colosseum (it's the only required dragon I don't have). If I have the breeding perks later, I can try for the CDD. Definitely can't get it before tomorrow's heroic race starts. My main issue is that all of this is a grind, yes? And empowerment is a very, very slow bottleneck. The question is whether I'm willing to put up with that, because it's not much fun.

Diplet has more experience and know all things about dragon city than you, they have analysis, research to create accurate rankings of strongest dragons in this game
You and all players of dragon city has own favorite dragons, because their capable of Passive or Special Skill, but if you can create analisis what dragon has a better combination of elements and how many dragon he/she can beat you can see the big picture of diplet data analisis
Quacks do you think I should keep fragmented karma dragon or sinful vamp dragon, both not empowered, because they both have chaos wind and dark in their elements so basically the same
Every karma should be at least in top 10 legendaries, their "dodge" passive is so bullshit, vampires are good if they can fight because if you can crit them then it's over, same with titan and corrupted, the shield just has 0 value with multihit skills
Karmas unfortunately are just RNG. They're inconsistent. You also won't be running into multi-hit teams every battle, so the corrupted shields in particular are not useless
One heroic, and some vampires is good. The heroic can start off the battle and take some shots, and the vampires can deal damage with their skills and heal up again with leech fang.

@@subydubdub322 cosmic detonation is the best non VIP dragon, followed by deluge. They're both easy to 5 star and have a good multi hit skill. Cosmic is obtained via breeding and deluge via Dragon rescue. Midnight is also decent to rescue but his multi hit skill is inconsistent.
Depends on the arena. Best overall heroic- Redemption Norn, Damage-Arcana judgement or Whitetip berserker There's too many good legends or mythics to narrow it down. Some of the best are Duel perception, Karma's, the guards, Blood god, sinful, V2 Arcanas, TWD dragons, corrupted legend and many others.

Just play the Events bro, and (didn't mean the sound harsh before editing) get as much Food as you can. As they say, the most Food you can get are from Events. So just play the Events.

@@CalijayOfficial you'd have to get it to a higher level like at least level 40+, and even then, empowering is what you need to do. If your dragon isn't empowered, it won't be that good or strong, and can only reach level 40. Ranking up the dragon also helps quite a lot. But tbh, 3 star empowered and level 50+ is quite good, as well as max ranked imo.

You can get tectonic pretty easily via trading or just over time from the orbs shop

I got yygdrasil but the ranking is so so low,should i use it or just use a random rank 50 legend on that list
Ygg is still decent as it's a heroic, but try and plan out your entire team first and see if yggdrasil fits in there or not

Every karma should be at least in top 10 legendaries, their "dodge" passive is so bullshit, vampires are good if they can fight because if you can crit them then it's over, same with titan and corrupted, the shield just has 0 value with multihit skills
Karmas unfortunately are just RNG. They're inconsistent. You also won't be running into multi-hit teams every battle, so the corrupted shields in particular are not useless

Just want to ask, should I use heroic as main Combat dragon or should I use legendary with skills/ability?
You can use both in one team, my main team is Sinful Vamp, High Nest, and Redemption Conquest, for example.
One heroic, and some vampires is good. The heroic can start off the battle and take some shots, and the vampires can deal damage with their skills and heal up again with leech fang.

Dracon for non VIP legend has 2400 in every attack if trained and great elements
@@subydubdub322 cosmic detonation is the best non VIP dragon, followed by deluge. They're both easy to 5 star and have a good multi hit skill. Cosmic is obtained via breeding and deluge via Dragon rescue.
Midnight is also decent to rescue but his multi hit skill is inconsistent.

There's too many good legends or mythics to narrow it down.
Some of the best are Duel perception, Karma's, the guards, Blood god, sinful, V2 Arcanas, TWD dragons, corrupted legend and many others.

You use the one with the highest attack. You can see this during battle next to your moves

If you want norn, you'd have to trade other heroic vips for her. Dual perception you'd be trading other legendary vips that are decent
yeah. like, one time i was scrolling down on the heroics list, and i don't think high ascended supreme or high redemption norn are worse than high overlord, or some dumbass heroic like that.. 💀

There are no tips - it's random. You're basically gambling by spending gems on it

Use a 4 side dice to increase the randomness so you dont feel guilty for losing

I have BGV and HCT, both at lvl 30 and they are so trash its laughable. How much do i need to upgrade these fuckers before they're actually useful

@@CalijayOfficial you'd have to get it to a higher level like at least level 40+, and even then, empowering is what you need to do. If your dragon isn't empowered, it won't be that good or strong, and can only reach level 40. Ranking up the dragon also helps quite a lot. But tbh, 3 star empowered and level 50+ is quite good, as well as max ranked imo.
