Bad Boys 1 is my favorite. Lawrence and Smith were equals with the action and the comedy. After this, Smith became the serious one and Martin the comic relief, like Laurel & Hardy. Plus, the annoying Bayisms were toned down, unlike BB2. The last 2 films have had WAY too big a cast (like Fast & Furious) and very choppy editing to hide the fact that both of them are at an advanced age & can't move around as well as they used to.

I agree with the editing also Martin and Will were equals in the 1st that’s what i loved about 1&2 instead of being Will Smith vehicles the films were Martin first then Will considering he was approached for the film first
