@@stn3666 I personally don't play games on phone much, so I cant honestly tell. Other than that it is awesome. Everything is loading super fast. I believe it wont have problems even with more demanding games.

i turned sim ejector tool in the microphone hole , are there problem to damage the microphone
do you think we can add thermal pad or thermal paste beside the camera to make the apu cooler? i use a phone cooler while gaming but seeing that the backplate doesn't actually touch the components below, i suppose adding thermal pad so it would make contact would make it cooler?

What is your opinion about heat dissipation vs regular poco F5 ? Does the back cover glass help a lot?
I haven't used either for long term, but the F5 Pro does have a larger vapor chamber, however it also has a more powerful processor so a larger vapor chamber would be needed to help with heat transfer. As for the glass, its a plus for heat transfer but there is also the wireless charging coil over the battery which the F5 doesn't have so it might contribute to blocking or slowing some heat transfer since its thicker. Overall just based off what I can see, I would say the heat transfer on the F5 Pro is slightly better but both seem to be good.

Just use a hair dryer, apply heat and use a suction cup tool to lift up the back to give you room to put a pry tool in between the back and frame. Then run the pry tool around to pry it off. If needed you can apply more heat while you are working your way around to make the adhesive loose.
Hello, do I have to remove the back cover to change the glass from the camera, or can I just remove the glass like that?
You should be able to just heat up the glass and use a razor blade or xacto knife to pry off the glass since its only held down with adhesive. You don't need to take off the back cover.
What a great video! I would love to fix the issue i have myself. My phone recently started making a rattling/ticking noise. Quite fast and not too loud. It occurs seemingly random. For example it's not happening all the time when it's on. Even with several apps open and in use. But then all of the sudden the noise starts again. The only solution by then is to turn my phone off completely.
Any ideas where to fix this issue?

might just be a secondary filter for the microphone. There is an additional rubber gasket/filter above the hole so you should be fine.

You'll be fine, nothing to worry about. Both the filter and mic are seated above the phone so they wont be damaged.

Hi, I haven't personally used Poco devices long term to have a good feel and understanding of them, but based off the heat transfer upgrades and so forth, I would recommend them over prior generation models of Poco phones.

Hello i know this is a late comment but im taking my chances xd is the poco f5 pro compatible with phone coolers , like does it actually cool the important parts of the phone
Phone coolers like external fans only cool off the outer housing. They do still help by helping transfer heat that is coming from internally to the housing faster by cooling off or blowing off the heat.

does the chipset still sandwiched the ram like the poco x3 pro? coz it was a very bad thermal design.
Most flagships have stacked RAM, offers better performance. All comes down to quality of parts and cooling. Should have no problems if cooling is good and quality of thermal paste and parts are good. These seem to be much better than previous gen, so hopefully won't have issues.

Its held on with adhesive. Heat it up with a hair dryer, and use a razor blade or something similar to pry it off. Then apply new adhesive tape that should come with the replacement and re apply it.
Bruh. I didn't know phone also uses thermal paste. How can we know if it's dry out. When to re apply thermal paste. Do we need to? 🤔 after warranty ran out?
If the phone starts running sluggish or slow and heats up a lot over time, then you would look into replacing the thermal paste. Shouldn't need replacing any earlier than a year or 2

Model is a BM5N and its a Li-ion polymer.

What's that Red color separator below the battery?
Its a filler rubber piece, just there to fill up the space. The redmi k60 which this phone was rebranded off of (basically the same phone sold in a different market), uses a larger battery so the frame and design is the same but since this uses a smaller battery it has that filler to fill the gap.

I didn't check when I had it, but I have noticed lately that a lot more manufactures are not using a mesh on the top speaker anymore and just having the slit. Not sure why.

yes will work without camera, but if you open camera app, the either the app or phone might freeze.

Did you try backing up your data and doing a factory reset? Sometimes replacements require factory reset to initialize and work.

Hi, the midframe is aluminum with a plastic coated border. It's not full aluminum frame.

Yup but in some areas for example the battery adhesive full pouches, the Xiaomi/Poco pouches are much better and easier to use vs the Samsung ones.

You must be right. This is BM5N battery and Redmi K60 utilizes BM5M battery. I wonder if anyone has put BM5M into Poco F5 pro. It is roumored that BM5M 5500 mAh in Redmi K60 is software limited to 5250 mAh to prolong its life through not charging and/or discharging it fully. Maybe BM5M, if put into Poco F5 Pro, would deliver its entire capacity? I'm afraid BMS circuit is built into battery and would not allow that.
