    I see people are complaining about the old design. I like the unchanged design and this still has a frame. If you want an ugly euro piece of trash, Ford and Ram has the van for you.

    • @YoungHeartedSoul
      @YoungHeartedSoul 17 дней назад

      Mercedes is just the same as bad as those. I like the body on frame design, proven. Skip the displacement on demand engines and you have a good van. The conversion vans are such great vehicles, roomy, comfy and a great ride

      They wanted to kill em off, but cause Ford killed off their full size van first they had to keep making it as the last full size van made, and they sell well

    I wanted to pick up one of these of these for a large amount of homeowner projects I have lined up for the upcoming years. It was either this or a pick up but I was leaning this because I wanted to put a sick wrap of a wizard fighting a dragon or something on it. My girl was the final decider and suffice to say we ended up with the truck lol

      Longevity wise these vans make it into 300-500k easily, of course very dependent on how you take care of them. My 96 has 220k on the engine and it purrs. No ticks or odd sounds. Older ones get less MPG.

    Dude making a modern conversion van out of one of these, wirh like...a turbo 6.2 in it with all the cool interior lights and captains chairs and stuff would be so sick. Put some cool wheels and fat tires on the back, you could easily make 800whp reliably with a turbo 6.2. Even a 5.3! Then just have fun. It'd be fast, comfortable, a great camping experience with a tv, or sick stereo, the possibilities are endless!

  • @jeffwolf8018

    The windowless Vans are for security . You don't want to window in your back door as well. It's so easy for someone to walk up and look in with a flashlight even with tinted windows and see if there's valuable items, tools in the back and that's very easy to hit however if they come up to a barn door they can't see through they're going to probably keep on going because it's not worth the hassle. Unless they're a professional thief and we're going to get in regardless to your security. I refuse to drive a V6 van.

    The v8 models are the ones to get. They also come in AWD. Honestly the best cargo van out when comparing directly to other brands. Most reliable drivetrain. Parts are a dime a dozen and you don’t have to take it to a specialty shop to work on the dang thing like the pro masters and transits. All around this thing is a winner.
    Great overview!
