Salutare, Adrian. Am luat recent și eu exact acest model M300. E tare faina chestia, mai ales pentru cineva care nu a mai avut de-a face cu un sistem android până acum. O singură plângere am la acest device: l-am utilizat abia câteva săptămâni, dar ecranul are deja urme de praf pe interior. Nu e gravă problema, dar cam "pătează" buna impresie inițială.
Salut. Este ciudata problema ta, eu pana acum nu am intalnit astfel de probleme. Totusi da un mesaj vanzatorului trimitandu-i si poze, nu stiu daca rezolvi ceva dar macar incerci.

Don't buy that Canbus XP because it has a bug that resets the service interval to 0. You can live without seeing the air conditioning settings display on the Android screen.

Hello Adrian, i watched your video's from the 308's android units. They are great!! I am looking into buying one myself from Aliexpress, i have a 308 SW from 2011 with this "flip open" color screen. I read some reactions from people who are having problems with the SOS button errors. Is this stil the case with the new units? And will the parking sensors work? And what about all the other messages wich are shown on the "flip open" screen, oil warnings, doors open, automatic wiper messages and others etc.....? I was looking into buying a unit from the EU mainly because it is shipped from Poland or France so i don't have to worry about extra taxes (to NL) I am a bit worried all messages and sensors won't work like before. I am aware that the "flip open" screen won't work anymore, wich is OK for me as long all the other functions still appear on the new Android radio. Thnx in advance!!
Hello. I don't think the problem with the SOS error button has been solved in the new Android units. If you install an Android unit, it will display the open door messages, the trip computer data, even the warning messages you can find in a menu. But as you know, the folding screen will no longer work if you remove the original radio unit.

Salutare! Merge foarte bine, chiar ieri am mers cu masina la un drum mai lung si ma incanta. Sunetul este mai bun decat pe unitatea originala.

@@AdrianDragan Eu vreau să iau versiunea pentru VW - M300S și am vazut că are TDA7388 față de M500S, care are TDA7851.Difuzoarele sunt cele de fabrică și nu cred că s-ar cunoaste vre-o diferență.Ce am citit despre TDA7851 că se încălzește cam repede.

Hello. Both models are compatible with your car, the only difference between them are the processors. The processor on the M500s is faster compared to the processor on the M400s. Another good option is the M300s which has the same processor as the M500s but less RAM: 3Gb instead of 4Gb. The choice is yours, I would choose between M300s and M500s, the latter has the advantage of higher RAM.
All variants come with a basic CanBus that ensures the operation of the steering wheel controls. If you want a canbus that displays parking sensors (if your car has originals installed at the factory) and air conditioning controls you will have to opt for Canbus XP from my links.

I don't have the original parking sensors but I have aftermarkets, so I don't think I'll be able to use them with the radio, what about that? The canbus interests me for air conditioning controls. How is the FM reception on this unit? is it clear and stays clear as you drive around?
Hello. FM Radio reception is a bit weaker than the original radio. You can use an amplifier adapter to connect the original antenna and the problem is solved. I no longer use FM radio because I listen to online radio with better audio quality than FM, I have to use the Android unit with all its advantages.

Hello. I also use a Hiworld canbus on my 308 T7 but it doesn't display the climate data. The point is on the 308 t7 no multimedia from the factory displays the climate data, so it is unlikely to work well with an Android unit. The only canbus decoder that showed air conditioning on the Android screen was a decoder from Simple Soft, but that one had other bugs that made it unusable. For me, it's no problem that I don't see climate control on Android.

@@giuseppelavalle2035 I think your multimedia unit has a separate module for USB, which means that it cannot be used to connect with the USB socket of the Android unit.
Hello Adrian. I've recently fitted my 308 with a head unit bought of AliExpress. It's a great, speedy thing, 4/64gb. One thing I've noticed that's bothering me is that the service light came on when I installed it for the first time. I thought I'd just do the service soon, so I did. But after resetting the interval, it goes back to 0 in a couple of minutes and shows the wrench icon again...Any idea on what this might be caused by? I'm completely clueless
Hello. The problem is with the canbus decoder of the Android unit. You probably have a Simple Soft or XP model, they have a bug that resets the service interval. The solution is to replace the canbus decoder with a Raise PSA-RZ-01: s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_DEwPaul

When you select the correct canbus, into the car model, select all or Berlingo. Then analog keys will be visible in the menu. And the radio station will be visible on the analog display.

Hi Adrian, halfway here :-) Peugeot 308 CC (2012) with Canbus XP setup.
1. No reverse cam installed, I have front and Rear parking sensors. But not beeping. When I'm in reverse, I got the CAM screen, and on left side of the screen I can see: sensors are working fine and i got response. But don't have "beeping" sound. Neither from the front sensors (no beeping). Any suggestion? Does it have a menu, to set it up correctly ?( Beep on, tear cam off... Etc. I can't find it)
And yes, sound system working fine (FM radio, Bluetooth etc, and already have tried to turn on/off the" parking sensor feedback" button at the upper-right on the front of the panel)
2. Onscreen Speedometer doesn't work. (AC, tepmerature screen at the bottom is ok)
3. How can I test that the CPU fan works ine? Until now I have'nt see it working until now 🤔

2. You may need to give permission to use GPS location for the speedometer application.

Also did the sensors originally go through the car speakers? Is that not the case anymore? My sensors previously would beep in surround sound (if sensors in front right of the car would trigger. Then the front right speakers would beep. so I can sense audibly where the proximity is happening)

Hello Adrian, I have bought that similar unit for my 308cc and my small display can't be controlled by the radio anymore. I found a video showing how to enable that in Car settings, but when I tap on that icon it does not opet CAN settings at all, and also my unit keeps turning itself off every few seconds while driving (turns off and on in one second, screen goes black, music stops).

Hello. I don't know what the problem is with the unit stopping for a second. I think you should check once again that all the plugs are well connected. However, tell the seller from whom you bought the unit about this problem.

I have not seen an Android unit with an integrated DAB radio receiver until now, but it is not a problem because it can be added to one of the USB ports of the Android tablet.
I recommend one of the Android tablets from the following link, choose "QT10 4G 32G" or "QT10 4G 64G" these units have octacore processors and work very well. Hello. If your car has a canbus and the screen displays the camera when you turn in reverse gear, it is not necessary to connect that red cable that comes near the yellow plug to the video signal.

Hello. You could do this adjustment for the date and time directly from the Android tablet, but you must have the canbus decoder PSA-RZ-01 (that black or brown box behind the Android unit). What type of canbus decoder does your android unit have?

You can make the settings directly from your Android unit, as I said in the previous comment, you must have the Raise PSA-RZ-01 canbus decoder, only this version is compatible with the original screen on the dashboard. However, try to find out which canbus decoder model your Android unit has.

The first Issue is my parking sound does not work. The screen animation for the sensors works. How to activate it?
The other problem is on the car's screen a message shows: "Musical ambience" as a title and in the middle says "Vocal".
And I don't know why but on my M500, RUclips and Google maps are different. Also, it hard to see the bottom part of these apps. It's like the picture goes down a bit, and you don't see the bottom part of some apps like youtube and maps???

Hello. Check in your phone's bluetooth menu if you have given permission for bluetooth to be used to make calls when you are connected to Android Navi.

Units with octa-core processors support all of these functions. What do you need a usb bluetooth dongle for?
@@AdrianDragan A lot of these Android head units will only connect to certain devices over Bluetooth. On my current Alps 8227L_demo unit I have to use a dongle to connect to my BlueDriver OBDII reader. The XDA forums are saying the current MCUs are not working with dongles.

Hello. So you have installed or not canbus with your Android unit? However, you should not have any engine errors if you have installed the Android unit. But if you put the original radio back on, does the error disappear?

On the other hand, I'm happy with the way my M300 works, the decision will be yours. Disassembling the dashboard is quite difficult and I don't know if I'll make a clip about it, and I have no idea how to remove the air conditioning radiator from the inside.

Hi Adrian, great video. I have a similar unit in my 308 SW (2011 FL) with Raise PSA-RZ-15 CANBUS decoder. Almost all funcions are working (Steering wheels control, temperature, trip datas, open doors), but I can not control the menu of the car - the small screen. I have the arrows and buttons on the screen, but doesn't work. And the service counter has a bug: I reset, but after couple of km it is zero again. What do you think, could be the CANBUS decoder wrong? Or my 308 (2011 FL) is not comaptible?
My Op system is Android 10, but the screen has total different design like yours. Menus and functions have a similar design like an android tablet has, not a car device...
The problem is canbus decoder, you need model PSA-RZ-01.
