Thanks for uploading this so quickly. The setup tips in the manual are benchmark! The manual alone makes it worth getting a Schumi ;-) I have recently bought a used L1 Evo and am really excited to run it as soon as the weather permits. I always thought it woul be kind of fragile, but it does look very durable. Also, the upgrades on the „R“ version all seem to make a lot of sense. No marketing, but real progress (for the pros that is,- my car is limited by my driving). Most probably the B74 will still remain my first choice for its simplicity and super reliable performance, but the engineering on the Cat L1 is really fascinating. Big recommendation to try one out to every true RC enthusias out there! On the build video, it would be great if you could share some tips re belt tension and FAB setting. I am a bit lost there, despite the great manual…
Just finished my L1R build. Went together great. Nice weight savings vs. previous gen. I also have a B74.2D with all the same electronics and the L1R came in 50 grams lighter. I didn't realize the L1R only came with 2 gears for the diffs. Im going to try that but also probably will go to 4 gear. Wish they would've included all the gears in the box. Very nice fit and finish, lots of aluminum and carbon fiber in the box. Nice that they include wheels, which AE would do the same.
I have always liked Schumacher on carpet but parts availability has been an issue. It has gotten much better and, with more US drivers on board, I hope that continues. Curious to know if anyone has tried this on clay as I race on clay during the summer?
i dont want to be mean but your thumbs are jacked up buddy. you slam them both in a door with your third arm or something? rough it it just a condition.
If you don't want to be mean here's a tip: Try not being mean. If that doesn't work, try just not saying (or typing) the shitty things that come into your mind.
