  • Spanner Action Episode 1.
Gradually the clutch was getting worse and the hydraulics clearly losing pressure, most noticeable when having to hold the pedal for longer moments such as when manoeuvring and therefore often requiring a 'double pump'. Before there was time to investigate, one day...pop. Zero pressure and a pedal stuck on the floor. Time to get the spanners out.

Nice video, and a beautiful car! I love these things and there quite frankly isn't enough content out there for em, would love to see more of this in-depth stuff.

Thanks very much! Hoping to release another video soon, more of a cosmetic repair but not a simple one. Keep an eye out.

I can see you done a new fuel line and adc do still have the self levelling rear suspension, how was the line done with copper or steel pipe? By the way Great video

Thanks! The fuel pipes are genuine BMW parts, the brake and SLS pipes I also ordered from BMW but on arrival they were not pre-formed like the fuel lines hence I made them myself from cupronickel instead.

I don't think this is the original brake fluid expansion tank. Never ever seen one on that side with that shape.

I've looked into it and believe it is correct. Does seem strange though...!

Definitely the genuine clutch fluid expansion tank and the brake fluid expansion tank arrangement. Maybe its is different on LHD cars where it is all on the same side.
