I have to admit that I have never used a corded drill that I liked. Brushless newer Makita is ok but pneumatic are all I like to use. I have many older Rockwell ex government contract refurbished tools that are really badass. Dotco 90° drill would blow your mind. I have a Jiffy that is a little big but really precise and fast (4700rpm). My Michigan Pneumatic 1/4" drill motor is especially sweet. I wanted to buy 2 or 3 more but they only want to sell a thousand.
I have a 40 year old corded Milwaukee hammer drill that is still strong as a mule. Newer Milwaukee drills are fair to good quality but not like the old made in USA drills.
Now you're talking my Milwaukee is USA or Germany and some Chinese. But my Old one's the kids will be using them for a Long time. In my gang box got Milwaukee Makita Porter cable ect. But I was doing a church in VT in the attic and the drill keep coming unplugged no mater how I tied it then got the cordless t-handle done in no time. Have fun

Because of you I just bought two new drills; 1675-1 and a 0222-1… considering between a 0299-20 or a 1600-1, which do you recommend as I want a decent middle road 1/2” drill to cover the middle ground between the two I just bought. Thanks again for your work!
no peers to a corded drill. My Makita is my go-too I recognize the versatility of cordless, but for me I go with corded / power to price ratio, plus obsolescence of the battery wars
The big one with a handle is the one you would see grandma selling at her flea market and beg you to buy it for a quarter because she does not know what that thing is for....
Milwaukee was the epitome of heavy duty tools and American engineering. I am surprised you did not mention the Magnum holeshooter line, for me it was the best HD pistol grip ever made, only B&D had something comparable. How about their bench grinders? Remember those?
Their bench grinders were okay but then I learned about Delta industrial Grinders and skill triple Duty Grinders which are extremely rare in not to mention Baldor grinders
I have 2 Milwaukee 6767 Deck and drywall screw guns. Those suckers are both from the mid 90s and still keep chugging. One is dedicated to drywall and is in much better condition. But the deck gun is still going strong after screwing in every board on a good 50 decks. I've replaced parts on it and relubed several times, but she's still a beast and a better option than destroying a new impact driver every time I build a deck.

No, I hate facial hair, smells like dirty scalp under your nose. My drills are from the 50s, I am a 1970 model.
Hell yeah, but as a helo mech, those air tools are better for metal work in a shop, I like to carry a extension cord instead of a massive air tank!

I have used the hole hawgs and personally They are good until you get it stuck bc it will throw you off the ladder and put you in a low earth orbit
I've found that running them at higher rpm helps because it has a better chance of stalling out the drill rather than taking you for a ride
I have an 0299-20. It’s heavy and gets hot, but It has rip your arm off torque.

Would that 11011 work well for drilling holes into joists on new house electrical runs? That overheating issues on the gears had me thinking twice.
All those drills have a similar sound....kinda like Harley Davison bikes..

That is the work of large 3/4" drills.
