      I don’t know how that works because many people go to college hoping to get a higher pay. But once a person has criminal records, it’s very difficult to get A job, let alone high paying jobs. So why go to prison just to get free college education?

    • @camps1960
      @camps1960 2 года назад

      You can get a free transition from male to female if you go to jail. Free health care. Free dental. Now free 4 year degree if you go to jail. But if you are a hood citizen. U have to pay for everything.

    Since there is so much online schooling available they should allow them to go through surpervised schooling on any subject. It benefits everyone. If Prison was meant to reform than this would be the logical step in the right direction.

      If we are paying for the maintenance of prisons with our tax dollars anyway, why not use it in a way that will help reduce recidivism/crime rates. Higher crime rates may call for increased budgets pumping into prisons (which many are maintained by private entities). Using our tax dollars to offer education can be mutually beneficial for both the inmates and society as a whole.
