That is awesome. And as I mentioned UCI does provide housing and if you're transferring they do give you options such as Arroyo Vista, Vista Del Campo Norte, Campus Village. All of which are within reasonable distance to the campus
I recently committed to UCI as a freshmen and I was wondering could you do a video on the difference between high school and college? I’m a first generation student so I would appreciate any info or advice you could give for an incoming freshmen or any tips. Thanks!
Hi! I'm an incoming fall 2020 transfer. I've been watching and finding your videos extremely helpful but am still confused as to how the ACC apartments work. Since they are considered on-campus housing, would that mean I would be able to use my university financial aid (UCI Grant) to pay for rent? I recently received a housing contract through the ACC company but didn't see the same offer listed in my Housing Gateway. I'm not sure if you'll see this in time as my contract is due tonight.... whoops.
So sorry haha. But yes your financial aid should take into account you living on campus housing so when you get your aid that would be for paying rent!
Daniel McGuire Thanks! With COVID and sd going on I decided to cancel my housing apps but will def take this into consideration when it’s safer to be back on campus! 🙂
Very smart decision! Yeah with everything being remote there isn’t much incentive to be paying the high rental rates. But with that best of luck this upcoming school year!
I know the Mesa Court Towers don't offer doubles, but do you know if the Middle Earth Towers are the same? Also I don't know any people to request as a roommate, will this affect my chances of getting the type of housing I apply for?
lordofbuns Mesa Court And Middle Earth Towers should be offering doubles, triples, and quads next year. You can look into the UCI housing website for 19-20 rates
Unfortunately transfer students do not live in the dorms yet. As I might have mentioned however, transfer students are fully guaranteed housing options around the campus!
Hello, I'm going to UCI this upcoming fall and Iḿ a bit confused about the meal plans. Can you give me a small explanation about it for me? The site says ¨5 Weekday Meal Plan + 75 FlexDine Dollars per quarter (This plan is ONLY valid MONDAY-FRIDAY) 7 Day Meal Plan + 50 FlexDine Dollars per quarter 100 Meal Plan + 75 FlexDine Dollars per quarter (Approx. 9 meals per week) -But does this mean that the 7-day meal plan you can eat three times a day? breakfast lunch and dinner? What plan do you think is good for an upcoming freshman that is depending on scholarships and grants to go to the school? I don't really have money and don't really know what meal plan to pick but I still like to eat and usually eat 2-3 meals a day. Which do you recommend? :)
Thanks for the info on housing!
No problem!
I recently committed to UCI as a freshman and I’m excited !
You’ll love it here! Congratulations!

Hey do transfers get to live in dorms or just the off campus apartments?
Unfortunately transfer students do not live in the dorms yet. As I might have mentioned however, transfer students are fully guaranteed housing options around the campus!
