I've gotten this issue a long time before. Hilariously, using DDU or install drivers in safe mode actually make them more corrupted.
If the adrenaline software failed to start (as if seen by active process in task manager), you can fix it manually by adding one of the other .exe in the installed folder for it to work.
(Other than that, i usually don't update drivers and let them rot for months/years until i figure a more stable one)
