You were playing based off of what usually happens not what actually happened. It’s like “in a simulator, this is what usually happens, so im going to assume that’s what will happen”. Not bad logic, but being able to make the adjustments in real time is what will make you better. And you had enough evidence (on scan) that you could have seen them making that mistake if it was processed quickly enough. Not egregious by any means, def a lesson in there tho

100% right play if you just cross and they do peak deeds gets deleted without doing any damage but if they do get definitely blows one up before going down and gent and onmuu win the fight… the only mistake was sliding left for slight cover and challing instead of sliding right and letting dick hang a little and 100% challing cause ur better lol if they do peak and deeds gets a big spray off and they win the fight nothing would ever be said but they didn’t peak so then it’s a bad play.
Deeds played it wrong there. im not a pro but i would have swung with team there.

100 percent. You see the guy stop peeking, you fuckin slide hop as quick as you can to that cover underneath them and then push up. Anyone who is half decent could see what Deeds was going for and that chall knocks you Everytime. I’ve done plays like that in ranked and it’s truly my fault any time I die like that. They have a very obvious height advantage. Challing that is pretty dumb. And to be like “Oh this team SHOULD have done this….” It’s like… okay? They didn’t though, I find that’s such a weird argument like Ommu was saying…. “Other teams won’t play like perfect AI, so don’t expect them to…” You just have to adapt.
Exact same argument can be used for Deeds.. dude is 10x better than anybody in these comments so chill. He's not going to make perfect decisions every time either. In his mind, they should challenge. If they do he's immediately dead. He runs for the evo for cover and gets hit from his left. His logic is okay I'm dead anyways so why not stay alive as long as possible and get in shots. Anything to distract them from his teammates swinging plus putting in as much damage as possible. Hindsight was it the correct play no but the vast majority of pro players aren't going to let him escape that scenario. At the end of the day, it doesn't matter. You can make an argument either way. I'm not changing my view. You're not changing yours. He did what he did with sound logic. My opinion doesn't matter and neither does yours.

No it didn’t he swung out to the left and died in the open on a free peek, his teammates pushed up under and broke LOS deeds decision was terrible

@@oneounceslugAPEX youre a little slow lol....provided nothing the scan backed them off the top edge and onmuu and gent pushed under out of LOS. Deeds swung left away from his teammates and died in the complete open for no reason.

Deeds made the right play why make a play that would have won you 1 scrim game because 1 team fucked up over the play that would at least give you a chance 99/100 I agree with hal there any good team is not letting that walk up happen. And there most likely dead rather way even from gent and Omnis position the fact that they act like once that team stopped peaking deeds had the ability to just walk all the way up under them in the wide open while they are in a head glitch is just ego and saltiness because they didn’t win

I’m no pro but I would’ve played it like deeds 10/10 times. You just expect them to shoot down on you when they realize you’re going to cross in the open and so you at least challenge instead of running in the open and being lucky if you don’t die for free
