Three Owls A'Hooting - Eagle Owl Nest - Eifel, Germany - April 21, 2020

Lotte's owlets have hatched and we hear Lotte, one of the owlets, and presumably Lotte's mate calling back and forth. So cute how the one owlet replies to its' mother.

I wonder if that adult owl has one damaged eye? Wonder how much/if it's vision is compromised?? Anyone have any idea??

No. No reports of a damaged eye that I am aware of. Sometimes between the IR cam and the positioning of her head her eye(s) can appear that way though.
